Well now i know why my calves give out after 10 mins of running, looks like we share the same problem. Is the testing exercise the only excercise you used to improve flexibility?
2 main exercises are that and a basic calf stretch - prop the foot up on a doorway, lean into it a bit, then do the same with a slight bend in your knee (to get the soleus). Aiming for both 2x/day. Also stretching the hamstring (foot up on a surface, press down into it) and hip (lunge position, lean forward). But if you're like me, improving the ankle flexion alone is gonna solve 90% of the problem 👍
