You went both down and up with some pressure. Isn’t there a danger of injuring the vein valves doing that. Shouldn’t all the strokes especially with deep pressure only be done from the ankle to the knee and not down?

I had some nocturnal cramps a few days ago. First time it was my right leg, 2 nights later it was my left. Ever since then my calfs have been super tight and I couldn't comfortabley sit straight or even lay down without feeling them twitch, constantly stressed. The muscles felt super hard like they were constantly flexed. Half way through the massage, my right leg felt great and I noticed that the calf didn't feel hard or twitchy anymore. This video saved me, I've had 5 hours of field hockey each day this week, two of those daily hours on running conditioning, between long distance running sprints and excersizes my calf are so tight that I could barely squat. Nina Hall I recommend don't do cardio because it actually doesn't help fat burning or losing calories it also effects your blood sugar too watch out for that

i used to get that too sometimes. i found that it was magnesium deficiency and getting enough magnesium in the diet fixed this.
Now I sleep peacefully. My calves were aching a lot in the night after playing football, walking and standing for a whole day. Thank you so much!
