Thank you so much for making this video. I have a TMX and have been trying to decide between upgrading my entire wheelbase to a DD or higher tier TM product so I can hard mount it to my NLR GT-Lite seat.
I've got a limited budget and was looking at the 3Drap universal hub upgrade with GT wheel as well, and was concerned that attaching it along with using the table mount on my seat would put the wheel too close to my body.
Now I've settled on not upgrading and just using this and the 3DRap kit. Thank you thank you thank you!

It's absurd to spend 50 dollars on a chunk of plastic for a wheel that costs ~250 dollars.

Even if your standard mount fits like it does on the Next Level 2.0 stand - the clamp is annoying as f*ck because it will hit your knees or quads sometimes if you're trying to heel toe and even clamped down as hard as f*ck you'll STILL move it around after a couple of hours. I've just discovered this part and ordered this now too... Hopefully will eventually get a simagic setup anyways but this should make this wheel last a lot longer

I bought an adapter that is basically a clone of this one from a UK seller from ebay. What I'm not understanding is though, only one bolt actually provides support for the wheel base, as the other 2 bolts at the back just hold the mount to the plate of your wheel stand. Because of this, my wheel is supported at the front, but it rocks backwards and forwards whenever I put weight on the wheel. I'm trying to figure out why yours looks more stable than mine considering you're also only using 1 bolt
Is it the adaptor piece flexing?

I have this on my next level racing seat. You have to drill 2 holes I to it and make the large bolt hole bigger to get it hard mounted but it works fine 🙂
Also the f-gt lite ? Im thinking of doing the same and saw a piece of wood in the same shape as the adaptor ( and also the form of the bottom of my wheel base)

Do not over tighten the bolt that attaches the adapter to the wheelbase.... just found out that sucker is a weakling and snaps off!!

What's the offset between the two bolts?
I have a question about the settings for the g923 in dirt.2.0, I saw your vid about the g923. I saw that a lot of people change their settings with the g29 I used that setting and it didn’t felt great. What do you use? The game also now has true force right?
I don't remember sorry, I'm back using my main DD wheel so the settings have been reset. The recent final patch for DR2 included True Force support, but I haven't tried it yet.

i have a short desk, about 8 in from monitor to the edge of my desk, will I be able to mount a tmx to my desk or do I need a larger desk?

No, but not needed. The T300 already has threaded mounting holes.

@@SimRacingCorner bought a tmx pro used, showed broken clamp and bolt in pics, bvut when I got the unit they didn't include it. Looked up replaqcement, and not even thrustmaster is showing them in stock. This 'adapter' looked like what I needed so I waited till next payday, then found out they are out of business and now I'm looking at doing one diy out of wood. This is the kind of thing that totally warrents an update, as i'm now stuck with a wheel that I have to hold edown to the table to use, which I'm guessing you might know is completely the opposite of imursion
