@@GiovanniBartoloDJ hai staccato lo spinotto che collega il volante alla scheda madre del motore ? Quello fa un pó fatica a passare nel canale per sfilarlo, io mi sono aiutato con un cacciavite, cercando di allinearlo alla corsia.
@@GiovanniBartoloDJ no non tirare con forza, se ti si rompe quello il volante é andato, é il cavo che si blocca nel canaletto. Cerca di allinearlo, si sfila senza troppa fatica se lo metti in posizione corretta. Lo so, é stato il passaggio un più tedioso. Ah altra cosa, quando sistemerai il cambio nella nuova sede, occhio a chiudere troppo le viti, perché la struttura stampata in 3d é fragile e rischi di romperla, a me é successo, ma ho rimediato senza problemi.

I agree that it is a cool mod, but not with this price tag. The hub and custom wheel cost as much as a new t150. So instead of buying this i'd rather sell the t150 and buy a t300 rs, I'd get a much better wheel base and also better pedals.
What filament is this printed with? Also do you guys have plans on making a closed rim? Reason I ask is because most of these aftermarket rims are heavy, and from what I've seen, the T150/TMX will burn out.
I can't get the cable that goes through the wheelbase out, any tips on how to do it? I see on the video that you put some kind of black tape but can't really understand what exactly you are doing and why it comes out so easy in the video. Here It always gets stuck midway
Can you reverse this process and go back to the old wheel if you wanted to? I'd like to know that because i would love to have two different styles of wheels that i could use

Wish this showed for xbox tmx forcefeedback setup. I got the hub and f1 wheel from 3drap and fumbled my way through it, the holes for the buttons are too small, I had to dremil so the fit so it still feels crappy. the 3d printed cog looking piece does line up with the whole thing but now I have no idea how to attatch the f1 wheel I bought from you guys. Instructions would have been nice.

MOD presa, ma la sconsiglio se si deve utilizzare il cambio sul volante che risulta lontanissimo dalle dita a meno che tu abbia delle dita lunghe almeno10/11 cm, per quanto riguarga i comandi del volante puoi solo usare 2 bottoni a meno che tu non compri il volante dedicato, ma se usi un volante momo (come io ho fatto) da gara dimentica questa mod purtroppo.
i have tmx pro but i dont know how to remove the wheel from the base because of some bolts. Are they just as decoration or do i have to unscrew them somehow?

you have to remember that its not just the plastic, its the design, the time spent having specific printers being occupied printing the object, etc. The price of 40 quid is nothing compared to the time you would have to spend printing this yourself if you dont have the knowledge of 3d printing, lots of trial and error and getting the print head to print properly without causing errors in the print.
We try to keep our prices as low as possible :) Anyone that has some experience of 3d printing, design, engineering and all the other stuff like taxes or business costs, can easily understand that the profit margin on 40€ is really really low for a product like this :) We work to make Sim Racing better for everyone, because we are Sim Racers first of all. We do our best :)

Ciao! No purtroppo. Il TMX e il T150 non permettono di cambiare il volante, per questo abbiamo creato questo hub, su cui però è possibile montare piastre e non volanti completi.
Complimenti per la realizzazione, però devo fare una critica. Avendo il nuovo volante un diametro maggiore avreste dovuto dimensionare diversamente la scatola inferiore portando le palette più esternamente. Infatti così rimangono quasi inutilizzabili passando da un diametro di 28 cm del volante Thrustmaster ad un diametro di circa 32 cm di un volante standard. Comunque complimenti.

Per il prodotto in questione, abbiamo preferito lasciare inalterato l'interasse delle palette per mantenere una buona configurazione sui volanti dotati dello stesso diametro nativo.
It depends :) the plates for T300 should be compatible with the T150 universal hub. For the TMX i think that you couldn't find any compatible plate, we had to design them from scratch
Buongiorno, ho acquistato l'universal hub, mi è arrivato ieri. Vi suggerirei alcune piccole modifiche, per renderlo più funzionante: 1) Rinforzare il coperchio superiore, non aumentando lo spessore, ma inserendo elementi di rinforzo (tipo quelli interni delle chitarre acustiche. E' veramente troppo sottile, si flette subito, e se si stringono un pelo di pi le viti che tengono il chip, flette, e ti trovi con dei pulsanti sempre premuti, cosa non piacevole. 2) Ridurre leggermente lo spessore del componente, una volta avvitato non funzionavano le leve del cambio, ho dovuto limare il bordo di ingresso per aumentargli la corsa, e ho dovuto inserire delle rondelle tra la parte di metallo e quella di plastica per spessorare e far arrivare la cambiata, oppure premevo a vuoto. 3) Filettare gli ingressi delle viti per chiudere il coperchio. A me sono arrivate nella scatola 4 viti come quelle del video, ma non entravano nei fori, in quanto non erano filettati, e avevano un diametro inferiore a quello delle viti. Ho risolto fissando il coperchio con 4 viti autoforanti da legno. 4) Ridurre leggermente il diametro del supporto che si attacca al motore. Una volta installato il volante tendeva a ballare a destra e sinistra fastidiosamente. Ho risolto mettendo un pezzo di nastro isolante come spessore. Per il resto, è veramente un prodotto eccezionale, grazie a voi il mio T150 ha cambiato vita, è diventato veramente un volante molto migliore, continuate così 😊

Been out there for a long time. Just look around. Some do a way better job too. They still let you use the buttons.

They're separate products, so you need to buy both the adapter ("hub") and the wheel to make it perfect.

T150 and TMX don't allow you to do mount a new wheel directly, for this reason we have created these hub :)

No it is the same. if you use very big steering wheels maybe you can loose some FB, but with normal wheels it doesn't happen :)

I think yes, but it might be harder to reach them because the after market wheels are bigger in diameter.

certo! tutti i volanti con pcd 50.8 o 70 :) se intendi le piastre invece, qualunque compatibile con t300 rs :)

Buongiorno, ho acquistato l'universal hub, mi è arrivato ieri. Vi suggerirei alcune piccole modifiche, per renderlo più funzionante:
1) Rinforzare il coperchio superiore, non aumentando lo spessore, ma inserendo elementi di rinforzo (tipo quelli interni delle chitarre acustiche. E' veramente troppo sottile, si flette subito, e se si stringono un pelo di pi le viti che tengono il chip, flette, e ti trovi con dei pulsanti sempre premuti, cosa non piacevole.
2) Ridurre leggermente lo spessore del componente, una volta avvitato non funzionavano le leve del cambio, ho dovuto limare il bordo di ingresso per aumentargli la corsa, e ho dovuto inserire delle rondelle tra la parte di metallo e quella di plastica per spessorare e far arrivare la cambiata, oppure premevo a vuoto.
3) Filettare gli ingressi delle viti per chiudere il coperchio. A me sono arrivate nella scatola 4 viti come quelle del video, ma non entravano nei fori, in quanto non erano filettati, e avevano un diametro inferiore a quello delle viti. Ho risolto fissando il coperchio con 4 viti autoforanti da legno.
4) Ridurre leggermente il diametro del supporto che si attacca al motore. Una volta installato il volante tendeva a ballare a destra e sinistra fastidiosamente. Ho risolto mettendo un pezzo di nastro isolante come spessore.
Per il resto, è veramente un prodotto eccezionale, grazie a voi il mio T150 ha cambiato vita, è diventato veramente un volante molto migliore, continuate così 😊
