I loved this game so much as a young girl. My neighbor had it and I would play it for hours. I spent a long time writing down every single insult the bird told and bored my family by reading them all aloud 😂. But it was so hilarious to me. I loved the mother’s voice in this game, too. So soothing and gentle
The Troll laughing when you fall into the lava terrified me as a child. It even gave me nightmares. I looked that scene up on youtube a few years back to look if it really was that scary. It was nothing special. Funny how you see things different as a child.
I feel you, back then this game was a big mind break for 6yo me :D Personally, I find lady sitting on the grave, turning and jumping on main charachter the cariest moment ever. But looking at it right now I admire how amazing this game is!

I wish a remaster of this game would happen. I don't mind the game, the only thing I would change is adding subtitles. I don't know how to spell a lot of the words they say in the game.
I feel the ending should be extended. Showing them actually getting married and Graham being there to give her away. I find the lack of Graham’s presence disturbing.

Wow during the intro when they jumped I imagined: Would be awesome playing as the straight experienced mother instead of the obvious Alice/Bell princess. But then you do. Awesome.

I have a random question Mr longplayer. I have been trying to find an old point and click I played on a PC gamer demo disc back in the day. In the demo you were in the desert in a tent, the environment was 3d renders and if you walked out of the tent there is a pyramid in the distance. Also I remember in the tent there a number of items you could pick up as well as a pretty simple puzzle to rotate match sticks to make a certain number of squares. If you have ANY idea what this game might be let me knowwww
@@Donnathedog ooo definitely has that style. But I don't see any desert or pyramid hmm. Also I think it didn't have motion in movement. So more like Myst, every time you move you jump in that direction or look different direction.

One of the first PC games I ever played. I never finished it, thought it was kind of slow and boring, and I had no idea what to do. The CD loading every dialogue all the time did not help. Maybe I was too young, and my English was probably poor. I do love point`n click games though. But always liked LucasArts games better than Sierra. Luckily Magic Carpet, DOOM and WarCraft 2 was fun around that time.

You were meant to use the statue near the well to convert salt water into fresh water and by growing the corn kernel in the moist sand you can use the ear of corn as an offering in its hand. Then scooping up the water with the clay pot. Weird that of all things, that's what bugged me, haha.

Personally thus one overall just did Not live up to its two great predecessors. KQ VI was the best of them all. But this one DID have its moments...That Insult Bird was Hilarious
you can use carlo's fastwalk patch, it will be so much better this game mentally punishes you with timed puzzles and responses to waste your life. still.. slow npc's walks and talks are unbearable.
Man kq7...the dogshit of the series sierra went downhill fast after this dumpster of a game came out never bought a sierra game again even now looking at this I feel the same way about it

The whole Ooga-Booga sequence was scary. The music, the characters, the boogeyman jumping on you... as a kid I had nightmares about him 😂
Everything in Ooga-Booga was SCARY! Dr. Cadavers office was such a cozy safe haven, though.

Watching KQ7 reminds me of a cross between Disney and Looney Tunes...I love it!

Played the demo back on release. It amazed me, definitely a favourite of mine.

If you hold down control (or shift) and tap the plus sign, you can make the character walk faster. Her pace is annoying af
I remember skipping chapters and missing needed items. What was the point of skipping chapters if you couldn't continue the game?
Nah, pretty sure you didn't miss any needed items. But some problems had different solutions, not many but some.
It was to go back to that chapter, to try again and find the item you're missing
