I'm returning to Blender after 3 months. I was a bit worried about forgetting things. This tutorial series is great for me to pick up the pace again and return to it. Thanks Ryan.
I complained on Ryan's older beginner video about it being confusing, then clicked on the link to this updated series he added in the comments. This video is much more understandable than the older one and rather than bailing on Ryan's tutorials, I'm excited to continue.
Hey Ryan! I've been hoping to see you make a new Complete Beginner series - just so that when complete beginners are looking to get into Blender, they'll find a current Blender 4.x version from YOU! It was your old Beginner Series that taught me the most to start with - but seeing that it was back in the Blender 2.x days, I wouldn't have chosen it if I were looking to learn Blender today - so this should put you back on top! I think I'll even watch it all - I wouldn't be a bit surprised if I still learn something new from it! 💯
Alright! I'm ready! I'll be digging through the tutorial series during the next couple weeks. Thank you for putting together such concise videos. No fluff!
Two years self teaching myself blender and some of these I never learned from any other videos T.T bless you Ryan, this is why your my favorite blender teacher.
Fantastic to see recently made tutorials for beginners, I’m planning to get into blender this year and worry about learning the “old way” of doing things in blender when it’s very likely that it’s newer features make whatever I’m learning how to do much easier
Learning Blender is very difficult if you don't have any 3d modeling experience. I watched countless videos on RUclips and was overwhelmed of how difficult it is to learn. I watched a few of your videos and followed it step by step. Just wanna say thank you so much, the way you explain everything in the videos makes it so much easier to learn Blender.
your recent Video Editing Tutorials Helped Me go from complete Noob to relatively proficient editor in just a few short weeks.. Cant wait to start diving and implementing this tutorial. 3d modeling was the reason i first Downloaded Blender and i was completely overwhelmed the depth and breadth of the multiple environments and multitude of tools. Thanks for making the complex simple for neophyte like myself
I'm just a young soul trying to learn blender to try and fulfill my dream of becomin a 3d modeller, and tbh following tutorials were kinda hard to me considering that I don't speak english.. so some of these names are really confusing and hard to me. 😅 But your tutorials are actually kinda easy to follow!! I don't have money to buy a 3d modeling course, so youtube tutorials are my best choice.. so yeah, thanks a lot!! You're really helping a lot of people :)
There are other very good tutorial guys on RUclips, but I feel Ryan is the best since he teaches you like you actually know nothing...some other guys just race through basics. Anyways, thanks Ryan.
Hvala mnogo za sve ovo! Vielen Dank für das alles hier! I have tried a lot of Tutorials here on RUclips for BLENDER. Your Channel is one of the best i have ever seen. The pace and explanations are great!
You doing really great tutorials. thanks for all your work ! The only thing I think could many people do a tiny bit better: When the high quality microphone stays on the Table, we hear every half heavy hit on the keyboard as a deep bass. That non stop Bumm I hear in so many videos from different People even they use expensive Mics and do great tutorials. I'ts an little anoying detail and verything else is really great. Thanks for all that work!
@@RyanKingArt Don't worry to much. It's happening in many super professional videos from other guys too. As I'm high sensitive, my brain has problems to ignore such not important imputs. Many people don't even recognize it. Keep up the great work and big thanks again for all the endless Help for Blender Users. You Rock !
I just finished part 10 of this tutorial, and its great cause you go over everything and show so many examples. Just want to point out for others as I was, to maybe maintain and expand the selection items when in object mode and edit mode. I had to double, and triple think the shortcut keys for Move, rotate, scale, loop cut, etc. Now, I know them by heart, but it helps to expand the left and see all the words there until familiar with the shortcut keys. It was so frustrating as I was like," Is it ctrl r or ctrl b 😂."
I’d love if after this tutorial series is done, you recommend what to do afterwards, perhaps recommending what tutorial/courses to go to next, or a challenge you could set with the skills taught after this course. Thanks for all your amazing, free content as always, keep up your amazing work 👍
Thank you for this series! I haven't touched a 3d modeling software since Maya for a course I did in 2010 and was facing a lot of anxiety about trying to figure out how to use Blender for the projects I want to make. I'm hoping to be able to make some custom items and character models for use in CSP, (their models are very good, but trying to make certain body types is a serious struggle sometimes) and this playlist is clearly going to prevent a lot of confusion and frustration for me!
I have watched your 3years ago beginner tutorial, and on the 9th one, and after that will cover this, just want to say one thing , buddy there's a alot difference in your apperance,
Oh geez... 6 videos in and I JUST realized I've been watching the old tutorial playlist, thinking it was the newer one. I had a sweet ass house too 😂 anyways thx for the content, I'll be going through these too.
yeah, I added the links to this new series, in all of the video descriptions, to try to get people to watch this new better updated tutorial, but for some reason the old series is getting a lot more views then this new one. I think its because RUclips is recommending the old tutorial series to people instead of this new one. 🙂
@RyanKingArt That's YT for you. I believe the older one came up first when I searched Blender tutorials. Funny thing is I saw the links too but I'm just a doof and wasn't paying attention to which one I was watching so it's mostly on me lol.
You can follow all of the tutorial series for free if you want to. I will be using some textures from Ambient CG, Pixabay, and Poly Haven, but they are free assets.
I already have videos on that on my channel. To use a material, model, or asset in another project, you can watch this video I made about it here: ruclips.net/video/-CCwQcW4cBM/видео.htmlsi=zbXjAtZKD72cvKxP
King, did I totally miss the tutorial for what I'm trying to learn and do, can that snowman be exported as an stl file and printed as a 3d model? Now I'm confused if you're talking about part 14,15 about rendering and cameras, so I wondered if it's even possible to extract the stl file from the snowman, thanks in advance?
Hello this tutorial was very helpful but when I press R or S for rotate and scale it doesn’t move, i’m not sure why but I was hoping you could tell me some settings or something that could fix that or maybe I accidentally turned on one that made it so I can’t? Thanks for your tutorial and its totally ok if you don’t know it may just be a glitch or something
I don't know the exact amount, but its a pretty large course. Its made up of lots of short videos, covering each topic. And groups of videos are divided into sections, covering different workflows.
Can you make a VR series for Blender? I know Blender has a VR plugin you can use for stuff like Meta Quest 2 and 3, etc where you can Model in 3D Space, etc. And you can use Blender to port models/maps into stuff like Unity for VR Chat for maps and such.
