500 plus hours here with this game on ps4, Best game i have ever played im very addicted to it and now im looking into buying it on pc as i have built a gaming pc.
This game is the best action pact lotr game, incredible gameplay loop, great characters, Sauron is intimidating and the Nazgûl are scary when you first encounter them. If you have a ton of free time and are looking for something fun and exciting, try out this game, you will not be disappointed at all
It is a fun, great looking game that is also well optimised. The same can't be said of a lot of recent releases that are stuttery, vram hogging messes.
I wish I didn't pre-order the game and start playing it immediately. It was amazing, story was so engaging, and it just expanded over the first, but the Shadow Wars section that grinded the game to a halt to try and get you to buy the loot boxes in their store made me quit because it got boring and halted the story. When i came back and the loot box store and Shadow Wars were removed I finished the game. If it wasn't for them putting in this out of nowhere grind section to get the true ending, it would have been one of the best games I've played.
Honestly this game is like the first but turned up to 11. I actually started playing this again and can’t believe how much fun it is, because I did forget oddly enough. I might have been too saturated in Tolken media because I did spend months playing this game and reading the books, took a long break and after some 150+ hours I put it down for 4 years. But yeah I think the only negative I can think of is the long winded dialogues, the first game did it perfectly.
Definatly worth it ! I had very low expectactions for this game, but I was shocked by this game, i was really impresed by the nemesis system. Loved every second of it, and also enjoyed the multiplayer. 9/10. Would raccomand
This is one of those rare, really solid games. There’s lots to it, it looks beautiful and runs buttery smooth. It may not blow everybody away, but it will be remembered as solidly good fun by all who play it.
The ''Pain-Lover'' is a special Olog. Depending on your knowledge of training, he can be extremely strong. He's an asset in your army. Some Ologs look very intimidating, but they're slow and they loose to more aggressive, but more generic/unremarkable Ologs in the pits and in Fortresses' siege/defense. ''Pain-Lover'' is fast and aggressive, which is why you should recruit him and train him and give him Epic/Legendary traits.
i bought shadow of mordor about a week ago for 5$ bc shadow of war was still full price then i checked today and saw it was on sale for 8$ and i was like i gotta buy it the first game is really good so i’ll see how this one is
It's always worth it. If you ask me, there ain't no better game set in Middle Earth. The best thing about this game are the Uruks and Ologs you can take over. It's so rare to see a game that gives you the opportunity to see the Orcs as more than just enemies.
I just started playing this game cause it was on game pass. Seen it forever but never actually downloaded it until last week... i played it ALL FUCKING DAY on sunday. Its been a LONG time since a game captured my attention for even more than 3 hours. This game is nuts. Idk why its not more popular.
This is one of the Best games.. and I still play it.. I wish they would make a 60 FPS version for Ps5/xbox x if the Assaasins Creed Games can do it... SoW should be able
The game is most definetely worth it especially for the online and story, I have way too many hours in the game (roughly 230+) and still aren't bored of it
Of course you should play it anytime. One of the best game ever. I have been playing it for months and barely made it through the third of the story because I always lose myself in combat, random missions and online vendettas. I myself love all the dialogues, and I am unable to imagine how the developers could put this much unique dialogues in this game. Insane.
I do not have this game, but I really want it. Do I have to buy the normal version. Or the special edition? I’m asking because I really don’t know what is the difference between those. Is it worth it to play the normal version. Like, do I missed a lot when I buy it. With not buying the special??
I watched the movies maybe 10 years ago when I was a chidl, so basically I know nothing about the franchise, thinking of playing the games as someone who has no insight into this world, would I be okay?
I would only recommend it to you if you are interested in gameplay and interactions between orcs because this is the only thing that this game can offer to you. For the rest this game is NOT for Lotr fans since it adds nothing to the universe, the developers somehow fucked up the story despite already having Tolkin’s book. For the rest game is very repetitive, it’s grindy and most of the aspects of the game have not been finished to good standards PLUS the game is definitely worth at least trying because of the nemesis system which you will never find in another game since developers own the right for the system
I have the PS4 (Digital) version from when I had a PS4 and had already acquired a lot of stuff. I have a PS5 now and was wondering: 1. Is there a PS5 upgrade version for it? 2. Can the PS4 save data be loaded to the PS5 console so as to continue progress from where you left off?
1. No upgrade from last gen to new gen. 2. Data transfered for me from xbox one x to series x. Don't know if it's the same for playstation. Anyway i deleted my old save to make a new one and i'm enjoying this time more than before.
@@davidtsmith33 yes i was expecting 60 fps thanks to the fps boost of the series but both middle earth games didn't get the treatment. I thought it would be difficult to get back to 30 fps now that i'm use to 60 fps but both games are so great that it's not a problem at all.
For me on my ps5 it’s totally free on the ps plus exclusive pass. Didn’t have to pay a dime for game I’ve played several times and still plan on playing today. Just can’t get enough of making my orcs fight eachother as I recruit the strongest 😂 I really like building my army the right way for storming castles lol
No. Shit is bugged to hell, orcs spawn off screen straight behind your back, hell, even in front of you. Most capitains are surrounded by 65 other orcs, rendering even just dribbling between enemies impossible. Shit gameplay, the controls are hella shit. There's a 2 second of loading everytime you try to climb a wall, rendering the parkour hella choppy. The button to jump off a ledge is the same as the one to hang from it, so everytime you wanna just hang on a ledge, bam, you jump 40 feet away from it. Super fun experience...... super fun .
I only have 7 hours in the game. I was loving it so much fun but i noticed I had locked missions that i believe i had to pay for. Is there something im not getting ? Do i really have to pay for more missions or...??? New at this
Which console are you on? im on ps4 and you dont have to pay to unlock missions unless if you want the 2 expansions and the extra dlc just keep playing and one mission unlocks another. some missions are locked because you either dont have enough captains or havent conwuored the area.
@@hawkecro not really, i just finished the game a while ago and gotta say, its very similar to some modded skyrims ive seen, i mainly mean the combat which is as easy as downloading 5-6 mods, taking over kingdoms with an army and a battle can be done with a few more mods and recruiting people with mindcontrol is technically already in the game but the world is too beautiful for any skyrim mod to faithfully recreate ig
