    There is a new special prosecutor added to Alec Baldwin's case named Erlinda Johnson. Interestingly, the prosecution did not make a press statement about this. Adding a new special prosecutor to this case helps them have some mystery to their trial strategy as the Baldwin's defense team has the advantage of being able to see the prosecution's trial style from Hannah Gutierrez's trial.

    Great idea to appoint an extra special prosecutor to handle the motions and paperwork thrown at them by Baldwin’s lawyers and a person with more experience. Baldwin’s team will not know in advance how she functions in court

    When people hear "Hollywood Attorneys are involved", they tend to forget there are two types of Hollywood Attorneys: Contract Lawyers and "Lawyers specialized in keeping celebrities out of jail." Looks like NMAG is betting Baldwin hired the latter.

    I'm just saying, if HGR was convicted, I don't see how AB doesn't come out of this w/out some kind of jail sentence. I mean AB is right up there with HGR in the "wasn't my fault/didn't do it" department. He should have never pointed that gun directly at Halyna Hutchins, regardless if it was loaded or unloaded. I don't fw guns, but even I know that.

      Having seen the full video of that incident, she’s not a protester she’s a harasser who ranks right up there with the "it’s a prank" bros.
      I’m not a fan of AB at all, but she was definitely harassing him, he entered the premises to escape her and she followed him constantly shouting at him, she was repeatedly and respectfully asked to leave by both the staff and AB. This is something she does and refers to as "performance art" it’s not, it’s harassment.

    I am pro order and law. I don’t consider any crime to be victimless, and I like to see a prosecutor passionately looking for justice for the victims. However, some prosecutors really find a way to turn the public against them. There is a thin line between being passionate and assertive, and being aggressive. Even-though I think Hannah was negligent and didn’t show she knows what part she played in this, I still had a hard time siding with the prosecutor, she was too aggressive. Apart from those tricks that go beyond litigation rules. When you have the truth you don’t need to play games. I hope for Baldwin they seriously improve it, because he will bring the best defense his money can buy.

      @@lilg2300 I agree with EDB, is a smart move, because is almost sure his lawyers have seen how they can use her weak points to win the jury. Even-though I think Hannah was negligent, I have problems with the producers disregarding the safe work environment. If he was just the actor, maybe I would think is fair for her only to be prosecuted, but he was a producer and contributed to an unsafe work area. The county needs to do their best.

    • @parisian44
      @parisian44 Месяц назад +3

      @TwistOfFate444 Kindly watch the video before posting utter nonsense without any context. Not fair! I am NOT a Baldwin fan , but I would have acted exactly the same way and pushed the phone out of my face . He was patient , minding his own business , talking on the phone and ordering coffee near his home . He was harassed by a pro-Palestine protestor who was filming simultaneously and taunting him endlessly in order to get an angry reaction . Baldwin asked the clerk to call the police . The protestor insisted Baldwin was guilty, ( “ You killed that lady and got no Jail time “) and then she wanted him to repeat her anti Israel slurs and pro- Palestine remarks. She was fully aware of his Democrat, pro-Israel personal opinions. She was aggressive, taunted him constantly, yelled at him and kept filming until he finally knocked the phone out of her hand. I admire the fact that he remained calm throughout . As a native New Yorker , I can confirm that we do not tolerate her behavior . We leave famous people alone and do not taunt them with politics. For once, I feel Baldwin acted correctly . And he was NOT angry ! He was pissed off at being harassed and wanted her to stop bothering him and filming him without permission .His trial will take place in NM during July , not in a NYC coffee shop in April.

      @@parisian44 I don't condone what she did at all. It was very wrong of her to do that. Having said that, he could've just walked away and ignored her. It didn't take much for him to resort to violence and he is going to go on trial in a few months where they will be bringing up his anger management issues. He has plenty of examples of losing his temper and at least one other time, other than the shooting, where he was violent with someone. Maybe the woman deserved it, but it is not a good look for Baldwin, accused of manslaughter. All he had to do was walk away, yet he couldn't let it go, again.

      @annmoss2 Let Baldwin be judged by his peers in a courtroom not in a NYC coffee shop by a yelling woman who was deliberately harassing him, shouting obscenities and her anti-Israel opinions at him and filming him without permission
