At this point, if the pathologist successfully identified the dead body as being a human and not a Doberman, I'll be impressed with him.
As a juror, all I know is that JO died from being injured and freezing to death and that he had a bump on his head and black eyes consistent with fighting and arm scratches (furrows). They have made no instigation that Karen Read did anything. It sounds like they are blaming her for not looking for him sooner.

yeah which is wild, since she supposedly dropped him off after midnight and started calling around freaking out just after 5am. Like, he was "missing" for literally less than 6 hours. That's an incredibly short window and IMO he was found incredibly quickly thanks to her noticing he didnt come home.

Thanks Emily for your daily recap. IMO after Day 9 the prosecutor has not proven guilt or even a car accident. He appears to be more concerned with justifying the alibis of his own witnesses and inadvertently attracting our attention to Colin Albert’s whereabouts at the time the victim was on the lawn or inside 34 Fairview. IMO some of these witnesses seem shady . “ I have questions”. In a game of Clue I would guess Colin Albert with Chloe the biting dog ( referred to as “it” by her owner) somewhere inside 34 Fairview due to the witnesses trying so hard to distance themselves from all of this.
When the prosecution witnesses are mistaken for defense witnesses, something is definitely not right!
I'm watching from the UK. I knew nothing. Unfortunately, for the prosecution, I'm still waiting for some evidence of any crime KR has committed. It's also unfortunate that many witnesses have appeared guilty of something, and I'm not sure what yet.
@@Lunazoomed I am watching from France . At least we can get work done in the AM because court begins at 15:00 in Paris , 14:00 in UK. Even after watching Emily’s coverage and commentary gavel to gavel , these daily recaps. are very helpful.

The prosecutor is sending me to sleep, the crime scene is messed up and the witnesses are being defensive- I’m completely bamboozled!!
This trial is WILD! Been watching since day 1 and I can't wait for the experts to take the stand to explain how those injuries would be possible from a car.

I find these witness intimidation charges against TB very suspicious considering the past witness intimidation charges in the Lank fight situation. So much corruption

The repetition isn’t necessarily the problem, but that things that keep being repeated do not seem important. Does it matter if they were at a high top table? No. Did that come up a lot? Yep.
The Solo cups is what I remember.

If the Alberts aren't lying, I don't understand why Aiden needed to be booted from the courtroom. And I don't think they are lying about everything, but they are lying about enough details and facts that I am finding it hard to believe them about anything.
This case is wild. I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop from Prosecutors. Right now I don't see their case🤷♀️

I know, with moral certainty, that it was snowing. Also, that “evidence bag” & “stop n shop bag” are used synonymously by Canton cops… 👀

I’ve been wondering if the prosecution is harping on details that don’t need constant repetition in an effort to make their case seem stronger. “Don’t look at the marks on his arm! Look at how much we DO know for sure!”
Sort of a “pound the table when you don’t have facts” strategy.
This has been Lally's way from day one. It has been brought up in many motions by the defense saying that Lally finds things that aren't important just to take the attention away from the real things going on. They actually mimic Lally by putting their hands in the air and saying, "nothing to see here".

This case prior to it going to trial so I wasn’t aware of this. Somehow I am deeply unsurprised.
My theory is that Lally believes Read is innocent .

Hope you had a great Mother's Day, EBD. I think this trial is getting spicier than Depp v Heard. The Albert's do not give me warm feelings. I feel like they are carefully dancing around facts, and using a whole lot of f*ckery. And Katie Mclaughlin did the same thing.
I'm wondering how much, if any, the jury is intimated by the police?
Yup local jury, they don't all live there, but they all probably drive through Canton at least 5 days a week 🫣
I was at a family run fundraiser / event yesterday in Dedham, a border town between Canton and Boston and my mother said "lower your voice, we're in Canton now and you don't want to get stopped on the way home."... 🤐🤐🤐

I looked into that journalist a bit and if what I saw is true, I... don't hate him being asked to stay away from them. Publish scathing articles sure, but what he's alleged to have done is going too far.
They knew before Karen rang ,he was gone..they must have all left the house when he was attacked imv.
This case is so hard to follow! I think it's partially due to the prosecution, but more because the facts of the case are so sketchy. It doesn't even seem like they are saying the defendent did it. It's almost like the trial is just trying to figure out any details of the situation. So many people, and items, and weird connections but little about the defendent.
The Alberts are an extremely unlikable group. I see why this case is so polarized.

The defense attorney is on a fishing expedition that’s what he is he’s high on his horse and he thinks that he’s his big shot attorney is going to get a paid out of this and I think he’s just going around in circles that’s what I think
The defense attorneys in this case are the lowest of the low! Their tactics should be illegal. This is what is wrong with this country. Lies and gaslighting by the defense is horrendous and dangerous.

What trial are you watching? I’m far more concerned about the fact that someone could actually be put on trial based on this evidence. It’s appalling.
@@butterbeanqueen8148 I’ve been watching this fiasco before the trial even started. It’s appalling that defense attorneys are able to lie and gaslight without consequences. If I had a dollar every time a criminal defense screamed “incompetence and coverup” by law enforcement, I’d be richer than god! 🤡
