I installed these on my 2020 F150 and couldn’t be happier. They look great and are super functional. I added the switchback LED turn signals, which really make these lights awesome. Install went very well. About a 3-hour project (first time doing headlights for me). The light output is great. Pro tip: If installing LED turn signals, test them before you mount the light housings back on the truck. You have a 50-50 chance that they won’t work properly due to the reverse polarity. It’s a 1-minute fix if you haven’t put the light housings back on. If you have, it’s a curse-fest and an extra 15 minutes of work. Thanks for the great video and products!

@@grantmorrow3449 Hi Grant, interesting that you should ask. I still love them overall. One issue that I am having a bit of a struggle with is that I purchased the optional LED switchback turn signals. These switchbacks do not “click in” well to their mount. One of them fell out of its mount and into the headlamp housing about 45 days after installation. This caused me to have to remove the housing, and fish the switchback out of the unit. I chose to Gorilla Glue the MFer to the mount and reinstall it. So far it’s holding, but time will tell.
Maybe consider a smaller lighter weight switchback if you choose this light kit.
Other than that, I love the lights and would buy them again.

Price difference aside I think I like the looks of these over the flagship units. The 4 projectors look “buggy” to me
They do have that appearance and we have heard that from other customers.
How far is the truck from the wall and tell me the measurements for your set up I need to adjust my headlights
Hey RetrofitSource, great video! I want to tape up a wall to properly set these headlights. Can you please tell me the height that you set your horizontal line to for the low beams? Also, what is the distance apart for your crosshair light beam centers? Many thanks!

One of my Led 7443 GTR switchbacks went out well only the Led part that would illuminate when the low beams are on. The amber on it still works tho. I dont know which ines to purchase from your site there’s alot to choose from

Is there any full OFF mode where the DRL's don't illuminate any light? I've tried looking on Ford topic boards and haven't found much.
Nope! This would have to be wired up to a switch for something like that.
Why is it I can’t seem to find a set of turn signal bulbs that fit the connector that comes with these for my 2020?

That might be possible, but for the price you wouldn't have a warranty!

I changed out the turn signals with switchback LEDs, does it mean it's no longer a hybrid?
Since the turn signal bulb is still replaceable, it's still a Hybrid!
You have a 2018? read somewhere those bulbs don't fit in the 2018
If your F150 has OEM 3157/4157 front turn signal bulbs, you will need to buy a set of 7443 bulb in order for it to fit properly (not included). This is due to some 2018 F-150s coming with either a 3157 or 7443 turn signal bulb.

What happened ? I bought the vlands too, one DRL burnt out after 1 week. Smh
Ever noticed the way these companies film these lights in a garage or in the dark? Why? Because they are not that bright in the daylight. If I'm wrong make another video of these lights outside in the daytime.
We can make some in the day-time... but no one uses their low beams in broad daylight, so that would defeat the purpose of showing how bright they actually are. 😅
Leds are cheap to produce.. This guy just said 1300 for headlights. Insane. Nothing ape ial about a headlight. Less to halogen. OK I get that. But damn
Producing a LED bulb is not expensive to produce, but we are talking about an entire headlight housing that had to be designed and be DOT tested. This housing meets and exceeds the factory OEM housing and comes with a five year warranty which is almost unheard of for an aftermarket product of any type.
Then he sad he the company designed a new optic. What does that mean? High cri? Nothing new about leds here. The lies these companies market is disgusting.
