You did a very good job of trying to make the tests as even as possible and gave a very good description of what you saw. The multiple view angles gave a good look at how each set looked in similar setups. I agree that it is very subjective on if it’s worth the $1700 price point but your review will help someone decide. Keep doing comparisons like this (fair and balanced), then your channel will grow enough to warrant other companies sending you products to review….. reference the channel by Project Farm where he does test very thoroughly with data. I think you’re on a similar track and will be a good addition to the community.
Great video. Put mine in a few weeks ago. Do far, very happy with it. Had the Factory Halogen in my truck when ei bought it brand new. Huge difference!

Honestly a pretty interesting test. You don't often see comparisons with the factory lights. I will say though, I don't see the point of the drone comparison views. It's not like you will be seeing this angle at any point of vehicle ownership.
The LED factory lights are without a doubt significantly brighter than the Morimo lights. The Morimoto are much cooler, however. I took mine off in 2021 with about 10,000 miles on my 2020. I sold both factory LED lights on ebay for i think $700 each. I'm sure they still go for big bucks on ebay.
You want to see further down the road more than right in front of the truck. I have the stock LEDs on my new truck and the XBs on my old truck. XBs all day long. You’ll definitely notice when you’re driving.
I think an identical comparison between these morimoto's and the top end Alpharex headlights from this 18-20 gen F150 would be a very watched video. I've heard the Alpharex's are even brighter but are more sloppy in cutoff like the factory lights. Great comparison, haven't seen anything else like it.
Yeah I wanted to include the alpharex in the comparison. When I reached out for a loaner set they did not supply based off size of channel, which I get. Lol
I tried the Novas in my 18-20, they were bright but trash visibility. They mostly put all the light right infront of the truck like fogs and the down the road visibility was WORSE than my stock halogens.
Hey Man, I sub and just purchased the moimoto headlights off of this video. I do have one question. I am seeing installation guides for NON-led trucks and none for led trucks. Got any suggestions or tips to install these head lights on a LED truck?
idk if you’re already figured it out but it’s way easier to install on led trucks. same physical install process but the wiring is all plug and play with the harness. no extra wiring like with the non led models
