- I installed a set of LED high beam headlights, low beam headlights, and fog lights on my 2019 XLT F-150 to replace the dull factory halogen bulbs. The light output is insanely bright! You can order a set for yourself here:

Your video is literally the best one on RUclips for this. Very straightforward. Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
I bought this LEDs for my F150, couple of months ago. Same issue, dull yellow poor halogens.👎🏽 and finally installed them a two weeks ago. I have to say wow, thank you for the advice. This leds are 3-4 times brighter than OEM. I only did low beams and fogs. Because I don’t use high beams that much, maybe after seeing the performance i might, just to have it. Great video, explicit and concise. I had to take the tires off became my tires are oversized and I couldn’t reach the back of the lights even turning the wheels all the way, but I was easy peasy process, actually replaced the brake pads at the same time. LEDs 100 recommend. The only thing is that I never heard the click when I put the connector together, but they work perfectly.
I am lucky that I watched this video because I was just about to spend big money 500+ in the f 150 leds website that has poor reviews… thanks
@@bodiaz9074 Awesome!!
this is exactly what i was looking for i just bought the sealights bulbs for my 2018 f-150 XLT. thanks
By far the best video I’ve seen on changing these lights. I’m waiting on my LED’s to be delivered. Your video makes it easier now for me to change them.
Hi there.! How is that you are able to use fog lights while high beams are on.!? You curious.! Thank you. Good video. PD I am looking forward to get the gtr’s but 550 bucks does not sound very good to me. So I could give this auxitos a try. :)
My Fog lights turn off when I switch on my High Beams
Truck is looking clean 🤙🏼 you should get some switchback bulbs to match all the leds
where you get switchbacls
@@KadeTaylor-no9wc is yours an 18?
Great video, to access all 3 different areas bulbs, is all behind front of the wheel? Greatly appreciated
Yep! Thanks for watching!
What program did you use to have your fog lights on and your high beams on same time you said bamboo mode?
I used the Forscan software. You can find it online and there’s lots of info on the F-150 forums on how to use it. It’s called “Bambi mode”
Thanks for watching & good luck!
Nice vid. Thinking of switching mine to LED's. I have been doing some research and hear that many of the brands have a wide base that get in the way of reinstalling the dust cap for the low beams. Did you have that problem?
Nope, I had no problems with these! Everything fit perfect and the dust caps were reinstalled just like from factory
Bro what an amazing video.
Hello, I like your content. Do you accept sponsored products?
Very nice. Good instructional video.
How did you make all your lights stay on? You said something like bandit mode?
Hi man thanks for the video. Do you blind in coming traffic? They say if you get led light you will blind people which I don’t wanna do that. What’s your experience so far?
Just make sure you adjust your headlights back down (or up if needed!) to get them level and you won’t blind anyone
@@SethLee but your links are not working anymore .
LEDS in a reflector housing made for halogens will blind oncoming traffic.
Hey Seth, did you ever do the reverse light change out?
I did not, I ended up trading in the truck for a newer one before I got around to it.
I ordered these from watching your video did you have any flickering or any problems with turn signals flashing wired?
Nope, they work great! Hope you enjoy them
Thanks for responding great video well done.
Do you have to use Forscan Bambi mode? Or is that specifically for running the high beams and fog lights together? If I'm not worried about doing that, I dont need bambi mode right?
So Bambi mode is when you have the High beams, low beams and fog lights on all at once.
The factory settings make the fog lights go off whenever you turn your high beams on. As far as I know the only way to enable Bambi mode is by using Forscan. Otherwise, whenever you turn on your high beams the fog lights will just turn off.
Yes forscan
Did you just put them in or was it a certain way you had to put them?
Quality video keep it up!
Appreciate it!
Are they too bright for the incoming cars ?
Does the 2018 f150 xlt need any type of anti flicker modules/ canbus PWM modules?
What are your drl setting in forscan? I installed auxbeams and cannot get the hyperflash to stop. I was told i have to buy a decoder, (after a week and a half trying to get a little support), so im thinking of going auxito.
Buy the obdlink
Great video, to the point and informative. The only thing 😬- I don't want some code. My luck always brings in some other aspect. Let the F150 gods grace me with no "exceptions" or I start cussin' like a metho-fuelled hobo - not my finest hour.😒
Update- The F-150 gods graced me with a smooth install. All 6 lights worked and you can see my truck from space!!! Thanks again for video!
How do you activate Bambi mode?
I used the Forscan software. You can find it online. There’s a lot of good info about it and how to use it on the numerous F-150 forums
How did you get the fogs to run with high beams
I used FORSCAN, it’s called Bambi Mode. If you’ve never used Forscan just google it, there are tons of tutorials out there. It’s sort of confusing to use but there are plenty step by step guides on RUclips
Any update on these? Have you had any problems?
They have been great so far! Haven’t had any issues at all and they’re extremely bright!
Any way you could get me the link to these?
All three links for the low beams, high beams, and fogs are in the description, and they currently have a Black Friday sale going on too so perfect time to buy!
🔥🔥
Is there an alternate way? The wheel well is not flexible as in your video. It harder plastic and it will not flex to get it of the lip. Smh
You could do it by taking the headlight out. There’s several videos of headlight swaps where you can slide the light out and then change the bulb. That you would have to take some trim pieces off from under the hood and unscrew it from the the grill piece. Probably a longer process but easier to access the bulbs that way. You can also adjust the light beam down as to not blind oncoming traffic which he doesn’t appear to do
Did you just put them in or was it a certain way you had to put them?
