She did sleep with her son's friend, and that is COMPLETELY inappropriate, and it was obvious how much she humiliated and hurt Will by doing this. But saying Will has been a perfect husband, but if Will slept with willows friend, we'd all have a fit. It's immoral at best. So if your friend slaps you in public over a joke you made about their wife/husband all will be forgiven because they human. It’s amazing how folks justify the actions of the wealthy but be quick to cut their close people off for doing the same things that the wealthy gets a pass for. I mean Will did ruin a woman’s career for years and apologized after the damage was done. All he did was let me know he doesn’t have control over his emotions.

Will and Jada has their family who support them and true friends who still wish them well! Chris rock also has the same. The media is selectively omitting that Chris Rock appears to go beyond the bounds of comedy, blindsiding certain people with all out disrespect or abuse. I witnessed this (always stuck with me)
seeing him appear on the Oprah Show years ago. He responded to a childhood photo of her on the stage screen saying "Oprah, you look like a slave girl in that picture!" She laughed along with the audience. (Sound familiar?) It was public knowledge that Oprah had been open about some of her extreme difficulties growing up. So, it seemed very inappropriate at best and also perplexing as to why a Black man would say that, especially given the setting and the make up of the auduence. People who use humor to
target others, and if checked cry out, "can't you take a joke?" It's one of the oldest bullying tricks in the book.

I don’t think Ali said anything wrong. We grew up in the 80’s, 90’s and very early 2000’s…at a time when ppl who talked shit got BAPTED and BUST in the face. She said the slap was NOT warranted, yet ppl are so angry.
Personally, I think people are angry bc Will used force rather than words to solve the issue. Now, those same ppl are uneasy bc they talk a lot of shit and they’re scared that someone do the same as Will. So, they’re find everything in the book and the manuscript as a reason to look down on him or chastise him.
If ppl would stop talking shit and “joking”, none of this would have happened. Any self-respecting man would do the same as Will, especially for his s.o., daughter, female cousins, or female friends. It’s one thing to talk about the man. It’s another thing for a man to talk about the wife. If the wife is not talking about you or doing anything to you, then let her be.
