A transforming table that I actually own is Spacemaster's X-Table. It converts from a low coffee table to dining table height. And the top flips open to seat twice the number of people (up to 8). It's my best small apartment investment and cost less than $300. It also comes in multiple colors and wood finishes. Just in case any of you in the comments are also on the hunt for space-saving furniture!
@Gi Gi - I've had it for over a year now and still love it! Great for game nights and dinner with friends. And it has wheels so it's easy to roll out of the way when I vacuum or exercise.
Don’t be negative, it’s probably not even possible to collapse the stairs from the upper level and why would anyone want to take the stairs down if they are going to be using them upon waking up, Or if perhaps there was an emergency in the middle of the night or an intruder one would think ahead and leave the steps in place until the morning. Everybody so negative just stop. Can’t say nothing positive about this awesome video. Have you never heard of the power of positivity, come on… Smile
@@selfesteem3447 alright alright, i was joking. sorry if you didnt understand, but i was pretty obviously being sarcastic. cant say the design isnt awesome.
It's good to know of "multifunctional furniture will help you save space in a chic way." I am spending a LOT of time working from home now, so it would be nice to gain some more space.
The bookshelf-into-table idea is pretty iconic, but then you have to remember to put it in the middle of the room instead of one side just so you can fully lay out the table, making it weird to place as a "bookshelf."
Biggest problem? Price. Space-saving and changeable furniture costs a lot more than they look. Example, the retail price of the Boulon Blanc table featured in the video is $1500.
There was a table in one video folds up to staircase then back down to table without removing dinnerware. Perfect for the small area. How about a block and tackle hoisted elevator? Have to think of the Golden days when climbing stairs might be difficult. Simple designs with plans offered are great deals.
Nice information but the fast short clips repeating a half dozen times was super annoying. Please just show the whole motion of opening and storing, once or twice. Thanks for the video👍
Some are great, but others don't seem to work. I don't have space for a furniture that will convert into a bed. I just sleep over two mattresses and use the spare one if I have a guest. Only people who really live in small places know it.
Actually, I've seen those stairs used in tiny houses and those super tiny apartment renovations. They wouldn't be worth it in a typical sized living space.
Why not just buy an air mattress and have actual drawers instead of fake drawers that are a mattress? So dumb and probably expensive for some damn reason as well
Or have the bottom drawer be a bed that you can put a matress in. That way the other drawers are still drawers. Honestly that one was pretty stupid. It's less a drawer/bed and more like a bed disguised as a drawer.
I LOVE THE COFFEE TABLE ITS SO CUTE
Same
How is a coffee table cute?

0:53 Imagine just waking up and randomly falling to the floor below because you didn't open the stairs.

It looks cool but some just don’t seem good or comfortable
Exactly. The bed looks painful. The chairs and couch look painful.
SonOfAKing yeah. And some of them look ugly and not able to give you a real home feel
Some of them look downright dangerous.
@@Arctic_and_The_F0X like the stairs
why would anyone buy these
what if you were on the stairs, and somebody folded them into the wall
They'd have to lift your whole body weight... I'd be more concerned about trying to walk down the stairs at night and forgetting they're closed.
@@okashi10 You can fold them from upstairs 0:59 but still dangerous to me
This one of these question that makes me worried about the future.... It's not a crime to think before you speak.

That’s not even a space saving design just a cool transformable table. Added features for added price.
Ikr the cubista ottoman looks cool and all but it's 200$
Feel like any moment these would collapse
Noo,Hope😂
01:00 imagine someone closing from downstairs and you don't see it the walk straight down.

Survival of the smartest. You should always be watching your steps.
Good video, Insider.
Short, informative, ok music.
👍
So the cabinet is not for storage but a bed
That's how it looked to me
literally

Amazing ieads
I wonder how much these cost
The expandable sofa would be awesome, too bad the kickstarter failed....
Where can I get these?
Super
Would like to visit your workshop/showroom if possible
I feel like I've seen this before? Reupload? 🤔
As cool as it is, these pieces exist to show off design talent, not function as practical or affordable furniture.
"Oh you want to sit down? Hang on let me craft something."
I am pretty sure those stairs are not to code.
I want to learn the making techniques. Anyone can help?
Cool video but the dot transitions were too distracting and blocked the action of the transformation happening behind it
Umm...okay? I have no idea what this means.
The ideas are great but the video editing is extremely annoying. Stop cutting scenes in the middle of the demonstration of how they work.
These screen covering transitions are bad, but the furnitures are awesome!
I think it's to hide a bit, how the piece functions so the design doesn't get stolen and used.
The stairs look dangerous on 2nd floor without a gate... the sofa does not look very comfty.
Does anyone else have a thing for collapsible furniture?
table no 8 datail pls.

The thing is: Im lazy as hell and would not have the mood to assemble these
Where's the video?

Book shelf to table was real silly.. not practical as you need to place everything precisely on table for it to function properly.
Hi

Who’s here from TikTok/Twitter
Oh, you still have got space for furniture.
Snap jack table is so expensive
Holy $%^%!! $7100 New Zealand dollars (approx. $4200 USD) for the large table and 4 chairs in birch finish. That is absolutely ridiculous.
Spoilers : innovative? Yes! But keep in mind that in future, houses won't be as big as you may think.......
Finally, we can get rid of stairs, they take up too much room! Said no one ever.
Actually, I've seen those stairs used in tiny houses and those super tiny apartment renovations. They wouldn't be worth it in a typical sized living space.
@@beth8775 yeah, my first thought was they´d be perfect for tiny houses!
You wouldn't think that if you played The Sims 4. Lol.

Trouble is any furniture in the house ends up with stuff on it and then you can't collapse it or lose the space and have to put it all somewhere else.
1. This all looks like cheap furniture.
2. It seems like to much hassle. Granted I don't live in an apartment/flat/whatever.
The legs on number 6 definitely make that table unattractive. Great idea, though.

imagine after a tiring daybfrom work, you have to pull up and set your table anf chair so that you can have dinner. just aint it man
can not even watch this short video. images too fast, words too fast, everything too fast for me to even begin to see it!!! 😤
Or you could you know...
Buy normal furniture
Most of these are a waste of money
In your opinion, which the worthy stuff?
I don't trust those "stairs" at ALL
