For someone who is a major Beatles fan, new to piano, and wants to learn the original music… these tutorials are unbelievable. Can’t believe I can play these songs and I’m now addicted to learning the instrument. Wish you would start uploading again. No one else ever has the correct arrangements like you

Finally a tutorial that really plays the right chords (except PianoJohn), especially that transition from Fmaj7 to F6, even well accomplished players don't play that because it was played so subtly by Paul that you don't even notice it..! Thank you for explaining one of the greatest songs ever..! ❤🙏🙂

I started learning the piano almost a year ago. The first ever song i learned was Imagine by John Lennon and it was from your tutorial.
You really are a dedicated instructor. Your attention to detail is i think what sets you apart from the rest of the piano instructors available here in RUclips. I would undoubtedly refer any piano beginner to these videos. Thank you so much for your efforts!

    Dear Birdmann,
Thank you so much for putting the hard work in to creating a phenomenal tutorial. The time you spent figuring out how Paul MacCartney actually performed this piece did not go in vain. In fact, by creating this tutorial you have in your own way made it possible for people, who don't know how to read music, to continue his legacy. I admire the extreme detail you put into this video. It was a blessing to me for you to explain the rhythm and dynamics of the piece so that I all the aspects of the song in one place. Having watched most of your tutorials, I can say that you definitely have a gift for teaching. I'm a student at The University of Memphis and as of now I'm studying mechanical engineering. That choice of study leaves a minute amount of my time available to me. Yet I'm willing to use that time I have left to learn how to read sheet music, and I was curious as to how you would go about this if you were in my shoes?
    Your Grateful Student,
    Isaac Brown

    • @feuerbussard
      @feuerbussard  7 лет назад +2

Dear Isaac, wow , I thank you very much for your words. It is a great pleasure for me that my work is not in vain and gives other people a good time and success. If you are willing to start from the scratch and learn how to read sheet music you can try different sites, I can recommend tinyurl.com/feuerbussard-flowkey but please do not subscribe before tsting. You have to like it. after a trial period you can subscribe. but there are of course other youtube tutorials for free how to learn sheet music, just search.
And the best thing you can do: go to a good teacher for a few month then you can do the rest online.
All the best to you young friend and good luck for your studies (mechanical and musical:-)) Birdmann

def know what you are talking about here when you start hitting the f ma7h and f6 and doing the sus in the spots that Paul really did in his song. Its the little nuances that set this tutorial apart from most and its whats make the piano part sound just like the beatles. Nice man!

His teaching method may not be for everyone but it is EXACTLY how I need it taught. True across the board for people that leave negative comments- They criticize yet offer ABSOLUTELY ZERO help/information/guidance or content themselves. So frustrating yet makes me laugh. @BirdmannTutorials / Feuerbussard handles it like a true and classy pro! Constructive criticism always welcome, negativity for the sake of just being negative - take it elsewhere. Bravo Sir!

Thanks. I’ve never played piano before, first timer, this is my first song and I had to go through five or six tutorials that I could tell were oversimplified and well, just wrong enough to be annoying chord and bass-wise than what’s on the record. I believe yours is one of the first ones I’ve heard that approaches the real thing! Kudos!

Nicely accessible tutorial! The only quibble I have with it is that McCartney plays with the bass inverted to the crochets you play: ie Top C/Bottom C as opposed to Bottom C/Top C etc in the intro and verse: so high/low/high/low instead of low/high/low/high.
That's a bad way of explaining it but I hope you see what I mean!

Thank you very much! In my view it is a great and very detailed tutorial (the best I have seen on youtube regarding this song). It explains clearly many subtle details. Indeed, it is a little bit too fast at some points when describing the rythm part, especially in verse/chorus sections (it is a pitty that you no longer write there BLBR letters as you very nicely did in intro part), but for those struglling I think that it is not a big deal to watch difficult moments at 0,5 or even 0,25 speed where necessary and write down which hand plays.

BirdmannTutorials / Feuerbussard I was wondering if you could also do Yesterday by the Beatles. It's one of my favorite songs and I can't find an accurate tutorial online at all ,that's not too oversimplified. Love your tutorials by the way :)

Well WOW, WOW, WOW. What a terrific tutorial. The patience of your explanation is outstanding; covering chords, rhythm, technique, pedal and grace notes - and the score - simply terrific. Many, many thanks for your time.
    I’ve subbed 🙏

@James Hanson I’m really struggling with this part. We seemed to spend a lot of time on the verse (with the essential passing C note), but the most difficult section wasn’t broken down quite so effectively? I put this down to my lack of ability. I’m glad that you managed it, I’ll hopefully get there one day.

Sounds amazing. But I've been playing the opening C-chord as an inversion (G-C-E).

And, i forgot something, i love the way you sing, you should go on singing on your tutorial. It helps to see when and how you start to sing, even if it's not always perfect, it helps really the beginners like me. ;-)
