Between Gail and the owner throwing down on the lot, my money’s on Gail.
Rosanne is BACK!!!
I was about to say when I saw her, is she going to talk about how her chest got something for her😅😅😅😅😅
Classic 😂
😂
😂😂😂
I love this lady!
In the early 90s I tried selling used cars at a large Toyota dealership. The only test drive I'd consider strange is the guy who came in to test drive an 80s land yacht. He took me from Kentucky to a housing project in Ohio to "his mechanics." Nobody came to check out the car and the guy was gone about 15 minutes. I'm not 100% sure, but I'm pretty sure it was a drug deal. He didn't buy the car either.
Back in 1994 we had a salesman kidnapped at gunpoint and left tied up in a culvert in Rochester NY, it made the local news and the car was never found
Maybe that is not something to brag about online
@@swineinbrine9434 who's bragging, do you see anyone bragging?
@@swineinbrine9434 He didn't kidnap the guy, dunce. He had it happen to him (a colleague of his).
@swineinbrine9434 you might be the dumbest human
@@TheLukasDirector Who's the dunce you dunce hahahaahah you took the bait
Many years ago, I was on the Maine Turnpike when I came upon three state troopers that had what appeared to be a brand new Mustang pulled over on the shoulder. I noticed the Mustang had dealer plates and thought "Hum, test drive gone really bad?"
Buy here pay here is a crazy business!
Ed I got to know how you found this lady
@@FVPS904 there was a gated Murci on her buy here pay here lot
Fucking tell me about it…..i never knew a mini cooper r50 was a nightmare to pay off from a ghetto dealership.
Why do they keep showing random unrelated cars that don't even go with the story?
I love these regular folk videos lately.
My mom test drove a brand new ford van and the brakes failed with the salesman, my sister and myself (we were kids). The van had to be towed back. After all the madness the salesman had the balls to ask what my mom thought of the van lol.
This lady is as colorful as Ed's shirt!😂
I took a Pontiac G8 for a test drive with a friend and the salesman came with us. I gave the beans and we hit about 140 going past Wilkes Speedway. I didn't get the car but years later I went with dad to buy a truck and the it was the same dealer and he recognized me and jokingly told me the truck isn't as fast as the G8.
I love hearing stories like this, just brutally honest and showing the depressing and sometimes crazy reality of car sales
I always thought, and still do to some degree, that car dealers were out to rob you. Then I worked for a BMW dealer for 11 years and saw it was a two-way street. Customers were just as interested in doing the same thing to the dealer. It's all a game of one-upmanship.
I've been saying this for years. I've worked at 3 dealers in my career and they all were fair and straight forward dealers. So many people accuse me of being the liar and the thief...yet the things customers would say and lie about were just dumbfounding.
I spent 13 years in car dealerships and this is true. I always thought that anything under MSRP is out of my pocket and anything over is out of yours. It also made me too embarrassed to ask for a discount in my own purchases. If I wasn't prepared to pay the price I wouldn't buy it. Still true today.
I have worked in retail for years, and still to this day remember what my merchandising manager told me about "mark up" in stores - if the customer purchase price is not 100 % above cost *minimum* we could not put it in our shelves. I have never felt bad about bargaining or asking for a discount since then - because as his opposite, my operations manager always said "the worst thing they can say is No" - and there is some totally ridiculous "mark-up" in sales (r. i. p. Mr Kirkendall, the second best "manager" I ever worked with in 30 years or so of "retail").
@@wills2140 With respect, it doesn’t sound like you were paid on the bottom line (profit) or were paid any sort of commission.
The person at the store doesn’t negotiate on the price of gas or milk and you wouldn’t expect to negotiate with them either.
All I’m saying is people have to make a living and if you want an economy that’s sustainable and everyone gets a fair share then people should either pay asking price or not buy it. Let the free market work it out. If stores aren’t selling their goods they’ll discount them and vice versa
Viginia Tech has the turkey bird mascot.
That's funny. I looked up Georgia tech's mascot. It's a Yellow jacket. I laughed and thought, "Well, I guess it could be a turkey with a real fuzzy memory." haha
Rosanne Barr sold cars?
love her stories! hope you have her back on soon and often!
Her stories could be easily be made into a TV series.
A discovery channel series, or the NON-History Channel... with high heart pumping music, a narrator talking with a deep voice kinda fast, and sudden flash cuts of people back and forth in a high stakes situation and someone yells "hes got a gun!" and the camera looks at the ground as they run away as fast as possible.... when you watch the real footage, its just a simple sale that was quick and painless... ah, the power of editing... "WE GOT OURSELVES A TV SHOW BOYS!"
Ah no, no they couldn't...
World's Most Boring Stories.
Not really but a small series i think yes just a day to day car salesman
impala to cavalier is wild
Hey! She lives in my town!! A LOAD of local references!! I even know which dealers she worked!!
was that wichita? i lived there for a few months with my dad and some of it sounds familiar 😂
This lady is hilarious
Funny, unless you live in Wichita you don't really know what a deal it is to be going that fast on Kellogg. It is a speed trap.
Definitely not a go fast road unless it's 3am
As someone who has owned several impalas and cavaliers the impala seats are 1000% more comfortable😂
"we were going over 100 on Kellog..." as though anyone on RUclips would have any idea where Kellog is. Is it a two lane road, is it a high way? God only knows! 🙂
It's a main road
I was able to search in 1 minute with KS as a clue..
Kellog is main hwy 400 in Whichita.
55 mph
@@MegaEdge777 I appreciate I could do a search, though I didn't know KS would be a clue, my point is, and I acknowledge it's hard when you have people just telling their stories, that I don't want to do a bunch of googling to understand part of the story. But I digress.
on my screen, the comment right above you is from
@caleblastname6969
"Hey! She lives in my town!! A LOAD of local references!! I even know which dealers she worked!!"
and i just thought that comment and then yours right below it was pretty serendipitous
Wish I knew Gail 30 or so years ago.
I wouldn’t mind a third round of stories from Roseanne
When I was 17 and went to Pennsylvania for work (from georgia) , my buddy had new dodge Cummins when they first come out. This dealer wanted thw truck so bad he gave me the keys to a year old cobra to let me test drive. Knew it didn't but I asked if it had a Trans lock and wouldn't let you downshift to a high RPM . He didn't know and told me to try it , so went from 4th to 2nd and as I shfted into 3rd I thought he was going to pull the door panel off haha . I told him 3 times I was only 17 and couldn't sign for it myself , but had a fun test drive haha
Spotted a 1966 Thunderbird in the random car inserts. Mine was a 20 year old rusty heap when I had one. Good memories.
Roseanne car🎉
If Rabbit was a girl stories !!! lol
What a great collection of stories 👌
This woman is my spirit human super chilll
You could've said "spirit animal" humans are simply animals
@@salt-emoji yeah, but you never know who you might hurt with a simple reference. SO better safe than sorry 😁
Gosh dang silver fox
Gail reminds me of someone I used to work with. I mean that in a good way.
vinwiki def needs to have her back more often!
Gail is the cool aunt ive never had
My dad bought a used Nissan 300zx out of an airplane hanger from a man who owned the moon. You can google him he’s still alive. Dad got to test drive the z on an airstrip. That was a good car.
Nice vid as always
I test drove a 2005 f350 6 liter it burned to the ground on test drive was a bad day I bought my first dodge next day never looked back
Wait this isnt Roseanne??? 😂😂😂😂 what the hell
Ed's taking offense to that GT comment. You cant disrespect Buzz or The Rambling Wreck!
Georgia Tech's mascot is a Yellow Jacket, for anyone interested.
she said shes from kansas whats their dealer called??
Lol Rosanne omg
Ha! My bday is Nov 26….1964 to be exact.
What's your social security number and mother's maiden name
The editors really do throw in the most random photos
That is not a Lotus 340R, I guess it's kind of an Elise but not really. Regardless thats a real odd poster to see at a buy here/pay here lot.
Her outfit is amazing, and the hat is the best part.
Love when Gail is on VinWiki. ❤❤❤
Gail is one of the few people I enjoy watching on VinWiki.
Such a good video.
Being from the south side of wichita, this is mild
This was a great video. She's a good storyteller, a natural on camera.
If I'm out buying a car and this is the seller, I might end up with 5 cars aswell.
Good Morning!
Why is Carole Baskin on here?
Please give her her own playlist on the channel!
I farted
I love Gail. I'd love to just hang out with her one day
I love the hat
In 1996 we were in college and went to buy a truck we got the hottest sales lady, she said if we would be willing to buy the truck she would do all 3 of us later that day she called iny friends information, we dod the motel thing he withdrawed the credit application the next day
Love rosanne!
Why’s it seem like half the time the pictures don’t line up with what they’re talking about? Used to be a lot better about that.
Wait, you took advantage of an 80 year old and "knocked his head off" on his trade of a nice Imapala? Like how do you people sleep at night!?
We need so many more of her stories!
I’d buy the hell out of a car from her 😂
Very disrespectful of the owner for the story at the end. But not surprised from a Used car lot.
Everything she's saying makes me have PTSD to things I seen when I worked for Hertz Rent-A-Car And Enterprise dear Lord
She's Awesome I'd love to hear more stories from her 👍
Half of these weren’t even stories. “One time this guy poured gas on the ground. The end”.
Most of the stories are good. Most of the people in this channel love cars. This lady doesn't seem to have any affinity for the shit she is pushing, nor any knowledge about them. Every third anecdote was remotely entertaining, but the lack of enthusiasm combined with the lack of knowledge just leaves me shocked you brought her back. Did the last time actually do well?
Quack🦆
I could I listen to her for hours. Just like a good family friend chatting out on the front porch.
👍🏽🇺🇸👍🏽
Out of respect to the past content I’ve enjoyed from vinwiki I listened to this entire video. Definitely the most boring video I’ve ever finished. If this woman was my relative, I would only listen to the stories out of politeness. The most interesting thing about this video is that nothing interesting happened to this woman in her career of selling cars. Did you guys lose a bet to another RUclips channel and you were forced to post this? Or is this some next level Andy Kaufman “the joke is on your audience” type comedy?
Lol cringe has hit her vocabulary
Worst storyteller ever
Would not buy a thing from this lady. If you dont know anything about vehicles, ill walk away
VINwiki must be running out of stories. They got this woman on here rambling for 14 minutes.
This is by far the worst story telling I've heard on here.. shame
