I must say I enjoy these videos, few things are more satisfying than watching people fixing broken things. However, in this case you have given the iPhone 7 the (2020) SE's biggest weakness (fragile glass back), with none of the benefits (new internals, inductive charging). What could have been interesting is if there would be possible to fit the (2020) iPhone SE's internals into an iPhone 7's casing, eliminating the stupid glass back, but losing inductive charging, which is just a gimmick anyways.
Great idea! Having the more powerful CPU in an aluminum housing dissipates the heat better than the aluminum+glass combo that the SE2 has aswell

Bro I’ve been looking for videos such as you mentioned but can’t find any yet, the thing is I have an iPhone se 2020 smashed up front and back but it’s still working and I have another I phone 7 in a very decent shape it’s unlocked tho I’m trying to fit my iPhone se motherboard into my iPhone 7 so I can use the display and the cover, please lmk what do you think about the idea I’m just hoping that the components would fit or even using my iPhone 7 display on my iPhone SE without going through the whole process. Much appreciate your comment
Inductive charging is far slower then the lightning cable truthfully my se 2 charges so much faster on cable then with MagSafe.

The iPhone 7 has a unibody housing, meaning the back isn't removable at all, unless it's a glass back

Nope, the motherboard placements are different as the se has the A13 Bionic with two boards soldered together while the 7s older A10 has a similar shape that expands further in one piece like the iPhone 6S so it’s not possible (considering the screw placements too)
