Convert An iPhone 6 to a 2020 iPhone SE for $35

- I found an iPhone conversion kit online for $35 to convert an old iPhone 6 into a 2020 model iPhone SE lookalike. The new body has a glossy black finish to mimic the glass back of the iPhone SE and changes the shroud around the camera to look a little bigger like the more modern iPhone camera. The kit includes a new phone body along with new buttons, so you'll need to move all of the electronic components, display and logic board over to the new body.
This upgrade is purely cosmetic, so it doesn't change the performance of the iPhone and you won't get any camera quality improvements or wireless charging and you'll still have a headphone jack.
Let me know in the comments section if you'd try something like this out on your iPhone 6.
This is an 8 conversion kit. The Se2 has the Apple Logo lower.

The one and only thing I love iPhone 6 is its slim and lightness. Does this customization make the device thicker and heavier?
This case is the same thickness a probably a bit lighter as it's not all metal like the 6's case
I had my 2014 iphone 6 laying around (which my sister broke) the housing was full of marks really big ones and the screen was cracked and the battery didnt work too so i bought a new battery and screen and i bought this housing kit on aliexpress

Yeah you are correct. The new case has to keep all of the internal components in the same positions so that ribbon cables, brackets an screws etc don't need to be changed. So the camera is higher than on the actual iPhone SE.

I would do it to my 6 but the only problem is that there would be no point the digitiser is unresponsive after survia water damage😭😭 so I am stuck using my 2011 iPhone 4s
If you’re taking it apart for this, it would be a great time to replace the LCD and digitiser assembly as well and it’s not that expensive either, you can get them from around $25
Michael Klements sorry to say this but I already bought a new digitiser oem that is not some knock of and it turns out to be a board level issue do you have any old iPhone 6's that maybe have a damaged housing that you could send me I am happy to pay and don't want anything for free just wondering because I have done a logic board replacement before infact the 4s that I am using I performed it on
@@joshuafischer2452 that's unfortunate! I don't have any spare at the moment, they are sometimes available on eBay. You just need to be careful of people selling ones which are iCloud locked, and your touchID won't work after the replacement either, unless you manage to find one with it's original touchID sensor.

No, you need to the get correct battery for your specific model.
Iphone se2 broken but part is good ican transfer to iphone6 because iphone6 bettary slow
It depends what parts are broken. The parts between and SE2 and a 6 are no compatible, they're an entirely different phone. This case is designed to house the 6 components and look like an SE, its not an SE case.
There is no more updates with the 6s 😢😢😮, wasted time & Money.
