I hurt my foot over the weekend and can't put any weight on it. After hopping around all day in intense pain, I can truly appreciate what you do for these cows. On behalf of all the Cows out there - thank you for what you do Hoof GP
The other night after kicking my coffee table at 3 am. Breaking 2 toes i would have greatly appreciated being able to shave my foot and remove the pressure to the toes i just snapped like pretzel sticks.
A few days ago I tripped on my toe and it hurt like hell. It still hurts, and it may sound crazy, but I thought of the hoof gp. It would have been great if he could have taken the pain away lol.
Hey GP I don't live in Scotland myself I'm from the U.S, but it's folks like you that I appreciate who's hard work really helps out farmers so your, and all folks in your profession have lots of appreciation from me personally.

This is such a humane crush. An amazingly comfortable machine to be able to do what you have to do. I’ve been watching hundreds of these and the cows never complain. On top of that you must be super gentle with these creatures as they never moo out in pain. This is so refreshing to see. I’m hooked on your videos !

I love that the farmer is proactive and puts the welfare of his cows so high on his priorities. Great the staff are being taught and supported to take an active role in it too. The weather however is as contrary as ever.
Just watching their weather is making my fibromyalgia want to flare up. But it's already flaring from the cold here. Still the farmer that's treats his animals right & is open to trying new things is a good farmer. The real secret is that the animals produce better too!
Most people don’t take into account that most farmers see their herd, or the land they grow on, as valuable and irreplaceable. A good farmer treats their resources well, whether it is a dairy farmer that is keeping their herd healthy, or a wheat grower that is doing good crop rotation, they know where their bread is buttered and act accordingly. There is no better environmentalist than a farmer.
Graeme, I love your dedication and love towards your family and your team ; and your care and attention to the comfort of the cattle you take care of. Cows are sensitive, carrying mammals and I’m sure they look forward to your visits..

Others talk about Dr Lee then some toe guy I've never heard off but you have now clarified everything. Cuz how? Well I'm hooked now and that Scottie accent is awesome. The scenes and highlands are unreal and your family setting is a huge blessing. Long may it continue.
So my question is this: On a farm of over 800 head. How do farmers monitor the hoof care? Is there a weekly inspection? Or is it just when you trimmers come?
Graeme i love your videos. Yes to more Craig. You complained of no insulation on your head since you just got a haircut. Silly man you were wearing a hoodie. You should have just put the hood up. Love how you and Craig treat the cows. They're not just a dumb animal to you. Love the kindness and caring you both show.

Eva Czarnojanczyk I love The Toe Bro, he makes one want to live in Canada so he could look at my feet...lol
It's amazing what you do to help the cows and bulls. I just found you two days ago and I really enjoy seeing the follow-ups and glad to see the animals walking better and doing well all around.
I want to do this. It looks rewarding and you help save farmers alot of money. Cows in distress produce alot less milk and you keep them healthy. Good job brother
Graham it shows that you guys love what your doing, and that the way you treat the problems with the cows that you good at what you do. Thanks Mark Dutka
Sniffs a poop covered bandage..."smells like ass". I probably laughed way harder than I should have! I am a Veterinary Technician in the U.S. and I absolutely LOVE watching all of your videos. Glad I managed to stumble upon your channel a couple months ago :) Now I wish I could find a large animal gig instead of small animal general practice...all thanks to you!
Sounds great! But invest in a really good pair of steel toed boots first.
I am proud, thankful for the cohesiveness that is accomplished. Truly a family. Oh, yah, good at wearing the face shield.
1 vote for a Craig episode right here! The one the only Craigy Boy ft The Hoof GP. He has some boots to fill. Amazing videos 🐄
I used to watch Dr. Pimple Popper, but they became repeats, so I haven’t watched in a while. I need to go back and watch any new ones. I love watching Dr. Pol, the Vet! I watch even the repeats of that show. Never get tired of it.
I love watching this channel and a horseshoe channel. I love the differences, both trim up feet but the horse smith does more smith stuff while this channel does more feet trimming. Love how much both channels care for the animals and their health
That seemed a very clean and tidy farm, how all farms should be.
Don't envy you in the coming months now as you say, days are getting shorter. I noticed the leaves have gone from your trees already.
Hope your missus was gentle with Craig 😄
Your videos are beautiful. Top quality, well presented, educational, everything just brilliant. Thank you 🙏🏼
I love your intro's, love your editing, love your voice, love your job, enjoy your background music and explanations of the problems and how you are going to attack it ! I might be a fan...greetings from the Netherlands !
Thank you for your generous training and knowledge. Hoof trimming is not my career, but I find interesting and comforting. Shutout to Greg for helping Graham.
I knew it, I knew it, I knew it
It was me watching Dr Pimple Popper that led to RUclips recommending you.
Others talk about Dr Lee then some toe guy I've never heard off but you have now clarified everything.
Cuz how?
Well I'm hooked now and that Scottie accent is awesome. The scenes and highlands are unreal and your family setting is a huge blessing.
Long may it continue.
The 4AM RUclips gods have blessed me with a new channel to binge
So my question is this: On a farm of over 800 head. How do farmers monitor the hoof care? Is there a weekly inspection? Or is it just when you trimmers come?
i believe it’s more that farmers notice when a cow is limping and then probably check it. Then they most likely would get a trimmer or vet involved.
I think they have a spreadsheet of sorts?
Catie Koelmeyer could be that too. Id imagine running 800 cows throw a chute to check feet weekly would be miserable
I think cows are seen in a rotation, unless there’s an out of cycle problem.
With dairy cattle, the cows bring themselves in for milking, and i imagine that plus the Ice Cube pedometer that some of them wear helps
Love these vids constantly learning about cows as I was a trimmer of sheep’s feet
LOVE THE CUP LOL!!!! I vote for a Craigy boy episode too!!!!
You said this one is worth watching...as if the rest of the videos you upload are not...I love every episode!
The Hoof GP: south-west Scotland isn`t known for it`s sunshine.
all of Scotland isn`t known for it`s sunshine
nice to know (btw I've never had one or seen one lol) but sunshine in Scotland isn`t popular we don`t get it much
I miss Dr Lee's TV show, but i dont really watch her channel much now. Nowadays i mostly watch human nail trimming videos to unwind, any Toe Bro and DC Foot Doctor fans in the comments?
I love Toe Bro, but I'm not a fan of DC.
@@joylumley6858 same here! Jaws Podiatry isn't bad either!
@@VulpineGreatDanes2014 , I'm not a fan of Jaws. He talks way too much to the camera and ignores the patient.
I've only ever had horses, and I've become obsessed watching this, since I never knew how they trim animals with cloven hooves
Same!
We have been to Scotland three times and can't wait to go back. If you don't like the weather wait about 30 minutes and it will be different!! Love your channel.
What a fantastic attitude you have for the cows and the farmers.
Sniff sniff of the cows bandage. That smells like awss. Lol. I about died. 😂Thank you for another wonderful and informative video.
That's *almost* what he said lol
You should read the captions...they do not always match which makes it even funnier.
You should see wound care NURSES do in hospitals and at home!
Pseudomonas is a bacteria you will never forget. It stinks to high heaven. And you vomit the first time you encounter it. It permeates the entire room or at home, the entire household. DISGUSTING.
