Great review guys. Did you change lighting or upgrade your camera? The video quality looks improved.
iPhone 13 pro! Thanks for noticing. Also editing on a new iMac so a few small upgrades.
Interesting….this one is getting very good scores on whiskybase by veteran reviewers (many of whom have rated the 2018 lower) and its aggregate is higher than the 2018 there thus far. I’m between getting this one and paying around 100$ more for the 2015. Any thoughts? Any changes in your opinion over the last few months?
wow, just a great question! For me, no way have I changed! Get that 2018! But that's OUR profile!
This is one of my favorite whiskies so I appreciate the question. By “this one” I assume you mean the 2021. Assuming that’s the case I would go for this over the 2016.
I still prefer the 2017 followed by the 2018 but opinions are of course subjective.
A nice special bottle gents. Nice review.
Thanks!
Good review!
"...bottles shipped from around the world for a measly $28-" is it possible to learn this power?
Whisky world 😉
There’s a couple 2015’s at my lls for I think 600. Would love to have 1 but can’t pull the trigger.
I can tell you that’s still a solid price for todays market. Is the 2015 in a black box?
@@topshelfwhisky yes sir they have at least 2 if not 3 of them
Yo guys…if you have the 1998 22yo directors special laphroaig, can you pleaseeee review it. There’s one in my area and would really want your opinion, notes and how much you’d pay before I pull the trigger
I have two, review coming soon but I'll just tell you now it's epic so you don't miss out.
Found one for $549.99 at a local Costco which seems like a good price for the times.
Sadly, it’s rare to find them under $500 these days. That price is definitely reasonable in today’s market may be considered good
@@topshelfwhisky what’s your go to now under $500?
we need a new top 5 under 500 video, but prices won't stop going up.
Do you nose it so long because it’s expensive?
No, every whisky I try or even the first whisky of the day will get similar attention. Really enjoy nosing
