I don’t think I could make a whole video about this, but the rainy season depends where you are. Ubud gets more rain than the South. It is sporadic generally.

I usually have a friend pick me up and once I drop my belongings off at place I go out and get a SIM card. I don’t use the taxi service at airport because they will always try to over charge you, thinking you have never been there before.

There’s new government regulation. Mobile phones from overseas now cannot be used in Indonesia. The moment you insert Indonesian SIM card, they will automatically validate your mobile phone’s IMEI. And when the IMEI is not registered at the Indonesian Ministry of Trade, the SIM is not going to work on your phone. You can use your phone using free public wifi, but to use Indonesian SIM card, you need to buy a new phone in Indonesia no matter what is the brand. Because the important is the IMEI has to be registered with the Indonesian government.
It’s bcz many Indonesians went overseas just to get the latest smartphone at cheaper price so I think probably the authorised reseller here in Indonesia complaint to government about low sales despite them having to go through all the customs loophole.
Yep. BCA’s internet banking interface might look too simple, but they have stable system. Simpler interface means the website is loading quicker. Better simple interface but stable network than having fancy interface but often having problem.
They have English language option for the internet banking. Just ask the customer service people to set it for you. I don’t use their mobile banking app.
