Really appreciate how you went over the general build specifications and build quality on this rack as there is almost no Vulcan content out there. Currently trying to compare the Vulcan Talos/Forge vs the Rep Athena/Ares and Vesta 2in1.
@@Tormalima sit tight. I have been using the Vesta 3in1 for a couple weeks. That’s the next video coming out. And I think you’ll be glad you waited to make a decision.
I was kinda in the same boat as you. Before ordering their Forge system with a rack (red gloss), I was trying to look for anything on their equipment and found very little especially regarding their racks. The prices were right within my budget for what I wanted to replace my old equipment, so I pulled the trigger on purchasing their stuff. I can't comment on the build quality yet since there have been delays on shipping (ordered back in April). Nice review!
@@WhoIsJonHarrisI finally got my equipment from Vulcan about a month ago, and I agree it was much nicer than expected. Having a couple minor issues with the length of the cables they sent me for the FT, but customer service has been good so far. I do have the Bulletproof Isolator, and it works great on the rack
Yes same setup. There are a few workarounds I’ve seen people do. But honestly I don’t see it as much of a problem that some have said it was. Not an issue for me anyway.
@@Davidtresmoore I think they would. I’ve owned a commercial gym for years and most anything that’s made overseas is either made in the same factory with slight variants at end of process to mark branding. These uprights are all 75mm x 75mm. Metric 3x3 if you will. So all of them are the same basically. A “one inch hole” is a one inch hole. Most attachments are cross compatible. Which means adding an additional pulley to the stabilizer would work on any of them.
The red ones are mono-lift arms. Not j-hooks exactly. Designed to where you don’t have to walk a squat out or any other movement. Common in the powerlifting world. Specifically geared powerlifting. But they will definitely give you a haircut if you’re not paying attention.

I hope you get it soon! I definitely think it will stand the test of time.

Sick! Ordering asap
“Company that charges 3x the price” I understood as Rogue lol If I ever win the lottery my gym will be Rogue, until then it will not be
Is the low row in the place as the Ares 1.0, which is to say low enough that it was the main complaint people had about the Ares 1.0 low row?

@@WhoIsJonHarris yeah I’d seen some after market adjusters for the Ares, sounds like same thing might work here?
