One of the first PS1 games I ever bought. Bought it based on how cool the front cover looked. And while the game is OK, I feel like I was somewhat duped as a kid haha
I Never played this version of the game and tbh it does look pretty fun for a ps1 game but you need to play the Nintendo 64 version! I’m sure you’ll enjoy that one just as much! :)
@@viejos1000I have the N64 version and it's a lot more enjoyable to play than this. Climax Studios did a poor job at making this on the PS1. Oh, and hardware limitations is not an excuse for making terrible games.
Either there's something going on with the emulation (like uncapped framerate), or the game seems to be running a bit too fast. I have the N64 version as well as the 2nd one. Presentation is better on the N64. Loved the second game though.
Nice Gameplay, Does this game played in Original Playstation 1? I have the very Same game and i am playing it right now and its not as High Res in graphics like this.?
I just discovered the pcxxr emulator has a grafics option 'make it beautiful' and thats the perfect name for that button configuration, a lot of games improve textures and colors, and it doesn't run slow in my old pc cuad core 2gb ram and 1gb video. You should try it
The Arcade(emulated in MAME arcade emulator) and N64 versions I owned are a lot better. The PS1 version is horrendous and it looks awful. Climax did a poor job porting this game and didn't even try to replicate the arcade version. The graphics are horrible and the gravity physics engine is way too fast. I'm glad I didn't buy this version 🙂
I rented this back in the day cuz my friends sed it was awesome n64 game and i got the psx version and i was like WTF is this? Its was slow and ugly just so much fog like n64
Two were the times I felt ripped off when playing a PS1 port of a game I played first on N64. It happened with Glover, and it happened with this game. What a downgrade.
"It's dangerous!" 2:30
Perfect quote for a very good powerful race car. 😎
(huge amount of screaming people)
In fact, it's dangerous playing this game.
Play the N64 version instead.
good lord, there's no helping this game. fortunately psx has many many good racing games.
Exactly. You can polish a turd but it's still a piece of shit..
@@pfmdude Its a poorly made port, blame the developers.
@@Victor_2000s the developers of this port should be ashamed of themselves.

You should play the N64 version. It's far superior over this.

That clunky supra thumbnail 😂👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
😂
I'm playing this game on Nintendo 64.
Cartridge version was probably the best home port. PS1 not nearly as good..
Mate, I wish the game ran like this. A game called RUSH is ironically slow af.
It runs slower on the original hardware?
@@H53. A LOT slower, this is sped up by 2x-3x easily lol
My childhood
Extreme: 💥 *it's dangerous*
OK
3:42 LMAO WTF 😂😂
lol indeed
Played this all day growing up

The game don't have a framerate cap
Indeed, this is way too fast. And most playstation games normally run at around 20-25 fps
I Played this Game on the Arcade Game Machine San Francisco Rush Extreme Racing.
I played 2047 on the arcades
@@manugrande844 2049 you mean.

Are the physics tied to frame rate? This seems a little off
I'm a PlayStation guy and this version is terrible compared to the N64 version. That version plays more like the arcade version unlike this crap.
Que saudade de jogar esse jogo com meu tio,não jogo desde 2018.
First game of Rush series, there's also SF Rush The Rock edition (arcade only) which you can race on Alcatraz Island
Doesn't Midway Arcade Treasures 3 have Rush the Rock? Been a long time since I've fired that up...
Interestingly there's a PC port of SF Rush The Rock, well arcade emulated of this game
@@Monacomaverick Yeah its on there
We did get the Alcatraz track in Rush 2 Extreme Racing USA. But that game was N64 exclusive.
@@Monacomaverick yeah midway arcade treasures 3 Rush the rock but the music is changed for some reason! But still very good!
😊 nice game
I have never heard about this racing game but this racing game looks so great
you should see the Nintendo 64 version.
This is the Worst version of this game. The best one is crowned to the Nintendo 64
Watch out for all the homeless people, and needles in SF
Childhood memories
Are we that old yet?
You should do Rush 2049 as well

Good video!
What are the keys for?
more cars and a track veriation
@@Leedleleedle101 whoa we learn something new everyday
This is horrific looking. The physics are neutered heavily too (the gravity in particular is too high).
1996. N64 had BETTER graphics than PS1.
I didn't see that this was the PS1 version.
Awesome game!

Yeah, it looked like a totally different game
❤❤❤
There's cheat to drives small pickup, a mini hatchback, and UFO

Could have happened with SSSV too
tbh, i prefer the ps1 version, plays & feels better
