- Are you looking to create a virtual machine running windows 10? In this video I will show you How To Create a Virtual Machine running Windows 10
There are many reasons why you might want to create a windows 10 virtual machine such as testing applications / training and so on. Below are the steps you need to take
Download Oracle Virtual box from this link www.virtualbox... and install the application on to your machine
Create a windows 10 virtual machine and call it something you will remember. I recommend giving the virtual machine 50gb of dynamic space. You can edit the virtual machine to give it more CPU / Memory / hard disk space
Next we need to go to www.microsoft.... and download the windows 10 media creation tool. Run the tool and create a .iso file.
Connect the windows 10 .iso file to the Virtual machine, power on the virtual machine and the machine will now boot to the ISO.
Follow the prompts to install windows 10

Thanks a lot, one thing I'd like to point out, is that I had some issues where instead of booting to the Windows ISO file, I would get an error message saying there was a fatal error as a result of nothing being able to be booted to. Going into the settings and removing two empty storage drives (I don't even know what they were to be honest) fixed the issue and the installation process started. I just thought I'd mention that in case anybody else had that issue.

Workaround
For Issue 1 (“Something went wrong - But you can try again”), click Try again at the bottom of the screen. The OOBE process should continue as expected.
For Issue 2 (“Just a moment…”), press and hold the power button until the system turns off, and then turn on the system again. The OOBE process should resume and complete as expected.

I tried everything. I watched the video and followed the steps over and over. And still the same error. Can anyone please help?
EDIT: Never mind! I just put the Empty drive in SATA Port 2 and the Windows.iso in SATA Port 1. I don't quite know what this actually means but it worked! For anyone having the same problem, here you go!
I just finished figuring this out and doing it, only to read this comment after that and now I feel like an idiot.
For anyone that wants an offline account, you have to disconnect from the internet and then "try" to make an account and it will let you make an offline account.

This video saved me from doing a lot of work. I've tried dual boot with win7 and win10 using 2 drives but it didn't work properly. Every time I rebooted and switched OS, scandisk kept scanning all drives in the system, randomly reporting errors on the win10 drive. After a few reboots Win10 didn't start and tried to recover itself. I got freaked out that it will harm the other drives so I gave up trying and now I'm waiting for win10 virtualbox installation to finish as I type this.

well im not AMD so this error has come VT-x/AMD-V hardware acceleration is not available on your system. Your 64-bit guest will fail to detect a 64-bit CPU and will not be able to boot.

Unless you're specifically browsing around on dangerous sites like on putlocker etc or around the dark web (but even that isn't really dangerous if you use it the right way) or being stupid and downloading random crap from websites you shouldn't trust. But for the most part, antiviruses aren't essential.
I don't have one on my gaming rig for years now and I never had any problems.

For those who got this error - "System Acceleration page: The Hardware vitrualization is enabled in the Acceleration section of the System page although it is not supported by the host system. It should be disabled in order to start the virtual system." and are unable to select the "ok" button after changing the settings, you need to leave the settings as is on the VM and enable virtualization on the host machine. A word of caution, it involves changing settings in the BIOS in case you may be unwilling to do so.

@Fearless Noob a virtual machines main use is so that you dont get viruses on your computer so even if you get a virus on the vm you wont get a virus on ur host pc so you should be fine

There’s always a chance of malware spreading to the host computer since your hosting the virtualization through a port, so If the malware detects where networking from the virtualization is traveling it can spread to the host.

I can't click on "OK" after selecting the Windows 10 iso file. Then I uncheck the Hardware virtualization in the Acceleration section and the "OK" to confirm that change greys out and will not confirm the change. Any advice on this?

I was able to solve this issue by enabling virtualization on the host machine. A word of caution though, it involves changing settings in the BIOS, which is not something everyone may be willing to do.

If you look at 9:04 you can see in the settings that there is a problem detected. Then if you mind watching till 9:08, the screen switches, and the problem is gone. He did not show how to fix it. And that's the problem why I can't start my VM.

You need a iso file with it. Just watch the video to see how he gets the iso. If you're running outside Windows 10 just find the iso file for the OS

I had the same issue. I fixed it by removing the 'Empty' optical drive that was on the Storage list where you see the ISO

Probably because you haven't enabled Intel Virtualization Technology in BIOS. Just google "How to enable Intel Virtualization Technology"

If you’re still stuck here, you have to enable VT-x (Intel) in BIOS or something similar.
