- Do you want to run a virtual machine on your Windows 10 PC? Well, you don't have to download external tools for that. Windows 10 has an inbuilt virtual machine client named Hyper-V. In this video, I will display how to install and setup Hyper-V on Windows 10. You will also know how to install a free Windows 10 on your virtual machine.

How lightweight is that virtual install and can you get a key to use longer? I'm using Enterprise LTSC but it still uses 12g. I'm looking for a close option of Windows Sandbox but to reuse or restore snapshot if test goes wrong.

When I open SCSI controller the only options there is are Hard Drive and Shared Drive, probably because my computer doesn't physically have a DVD Drive. What should I do in order to install windows on VM?

The only issue that I have with it is that you instruct us not to set up an internet connection in the wizard because we will go over that later. Unfortunately for me we never go over that later, so now I have to search for another video to show me how to set up a virtual internet connection.

Hyper-V feature is not listed in the Windows features on or off. I am using windows 11 home single language edition but my system is compatible.

I have installed the free windows and it opens and logs on OK. But when I try to install Minecraft, it says Windows needs to be updated and because the image in Enterprise version it cannot update online. Any advice on how I update the windows image to the latest Win10 version?

Connecting a USB device is not possible on Hyper-V. You can only load ISO files as DVD. The boot loader failed message tells that the Windows 10 image is not properly created. You can try creating the image again.
Tried it and the free VMWare Player is a darn sight easier to set up and is easier to set in bridge mode.

You could unpin the connection bar at the top but if if you place your cursor at that spot it will pop out.
