Probably best to always use dynamic memory. You will save memory where the VM is using less than the amount of startup memory. You can still specify a maximum amount of memory the VM can consume to stop it from consuming too much memory.
You can look in task manager by going down to the taskbar where your icons are and then right click and then select task manager finally press "More Details" then proformance to check if virtualization is their.

Ok, but you can't get around the UAC prompt. And you usually don't have admin rights at work. And the only place where you would run a terrible operating system like Windows would be at work.

Peter 1, I believe it will let you select a wifi adapter, assuming you have one installed 2, you can only assign as much storage space to a vurtual hard drive as you have left on the actual, physical harddrive/ssd 3, I'm not 100% sure about those but it seems logical and should reflect the actual application

I have been trying to use Hyper-V lately. Is there any reason why it lags so much compared to VirutalBox? I gave VMs on both platforms the same specs and the VM on Hyper-V lags like it is restrained on hardware requirements. Just as a follow up to that, is there a way to configure the VMs on Hyper-V to use the graphics card installed on your motherboard rather than a generic onboard graphics card?

It is available exclusively for Windows 10 Pro, Pro for Workstations, Education, and Enterprise E3 and E5. It is a feature of Windows and therefore makes no sense for Microsoft to allow use on a non-Windows computer.

For the error "hypervisor not active", you have to get into the BIOS (F10 while turning on) and the Hypervisor
