Yes we put a lid on.... And the exact name of the season brand is "Louisiana Cajun Land" Season... We just added a few things to make it our own

From start to finish, it's usually takes 3 1/2 to 4 hrs on top of the stove. That is including the resting time for it to soak up the seasoning....
