To me it's just so insane seeing how much music a lot of these kids have NEVER heard of. Like I'm not that old, I'm 28, but I've heard most of these songs they react to far too many times to count. Like my parents barely listen to music at all, these songs were just around when I was a kid. Still on the radio, and they still are, just not as much, but like my girl by the temptations... I couldn't imagine not knowing that song. It just baffles me. A lot of them even listen to rap, but have somehow never listened to a song by Eminem. Like I'm starting to wonder if a lot of them listen to anything at all. They don't even know how much great music is out there that theyre missing out on. I feel like since they grew up with horrible music, they just think "oh, I guess good music doesn't exist yet." They'll look at how many views a video by the Beatles has and think "huh, that's pretty good for an older band." They don't even grasp that RUclips hasn't been around very long and that if setting like that were around in the 60s, the Beatles would have infinity views. It wouldn't even be a real number. It's sad that they look at the view count before even giving a song a chance. To the girl on here, I don't mean you. You actually seem like you got a good head on your shoulders and I enjoy watching your reactions. All I ask is just keep up the good work and don't sell out and just do whatever a reaction channel is "supposed" to do or whatever. Just keep being you. That's why I like your channel. I like watching YOU react to stuff. Not someone who does every single thing like everyone else. Stay unique. Keep up the good work!

What I always loved about this song is how Frida and Agnetha belt the chorus in different registers: Agnetha at the top and Frida below, but with the same insane energy. Them having different registers is a huge part of the ABBA sound - their blend is sensational, yes, but also something exciting happened to their sound when Frida strained to get up there with Agnetha.
I think the saddest part of ABBA history was 'The winner takes it all', imagine these beautiful people all going through a divorce and still staying together as a band :( Long live ABBA! Timeless.
Thank you young person... beautiful young person. Thank you for having an open mind and an artistic heart! I'm a jazz guy and I love ABBA! It's just great music!
Yeah, same. My parents always played Abba when I was a kid. And being from Sweden, I bet ABBA was more popular than our royal family back then... 😄 ABBA actually performed this song for the king and queen.
Every time I hear this I remember the hot, sunny summer of '76. What was especially great about ABBA was that they wrote all their songs, not like some artists/groups these days who have hordes of writers churning out cr*p. These guys were phenomenal
They were very successful in Scandinavia apparently at the time. There was a weekly music show in Australia a the time and the producer Ian "Molly" Meldrum brought them to the Australian publics attention. The rest was history.

I was a teenager during the 70's/80's. This was filmed in 1976. It was a wonderful time to be young. People were happier, relationships were closer, life was more care free, and the music was incredible. Attending concerts was a huge thing to do among young people back then. We loved it. Concert tickets were not that expensive at all. The groups my friends and I loved were Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Lynrd Skynrd, Journey, Styx, Foreigner, Triumph, 38 Special, Boston, REO Speedwagon, Rush. I was around the same age as these kids on the dance floor in the video. ABBA is in the top 10 of album/singles sales of all time, selling around 400 million copies. Though I wasn't and am not a huge fan of theirs, their songs bring back a ton of wonderful memories.

This song is still a theme song to me. I was so lucky to be there, on a dance floor, when this song first hit the charts. Oh my, what musical history! The 60s, 70s, and 80s were amazing! I love some 90s songs, too, all the way up to present day. But especially the 70s & 80s, woooo! I'm so happy you're loving ABBA, one of the greatest bands of all time. Enjoy!

I remember some DJs comment introducing this song for the first time. "Wow! The way it s pounding out of the the musicbox.." Yes. "Dancing Quuen" is one of ABBAs masterpieces. I appreciate you entjoying this one, too.😊
The first time I heard ABBA, I was a teenager back in the 70's. I had a little am/fm radio with an earphone. I would listen to it for hours at night after I went to bed. When I heard Dancing Queen, I became an instant ABBA fan. I have 2 alltime favorite songs. Dancing Queen and I have a dream which is also a song by ABBA. Loved ABBA as a kid growing up and all the way thru to now. Bunny & Bjorn amazing songwriters. Of course with the blessed vocals of Agnetha (married to Bjorn) and Anna-Frid (married to Benny...playing Piano). Of course both couples divorced but remained friends and reunited over the years. And of course stage musicals and films based on the songs now covering two Mama Mia movies. I think they r gr8. If u get a chance to see their song 'Waterloo' please do. It's what put them on the big stage as they won the highly competitive 'Eurovision Song Contest' with it in 1974. All European countries still compete for this every year. Björn and Benny, the guys in the group wrote The musical ABBA that included ABBA's songs. The Movie Mamma Mia is based on that musical and brought new attention to ABBA's music and especially the Song Mama mia that became a favorite. I was at an ABBA concert in Sweden back in the days when they were huge. It was a small outdoor concert and I was standing like 20 meters from the stage with clear view over the stage, It was amazing.
It's great to relax to music that is just plain fun. I haven't heard that in the newer music in many years. Unit 4 + 2 did a fun song called "Concrete And Clay"
ABBA was a supergroup in the 70s I listened to them during the 70s when I was a kid ! Agnetha was married to Bjorn the guitar player and Anna -Frida was married to Benny the piano and keyboardist !

Oh boy, I'm so old ! 😎 Realising that there's a whole generation that is not familiar with ABBA. One of my favorite songs of 1976 (when I started as a student). Hope that many youngsters will apreciate their great songs and thd compositions from Björn and Benny. And of course the two AA's were fenominal.
This is sooo funny to me because even I listen to different music from the generation below me. I could only imagine how you feel. My MOM was born in 1976. LMBO!!!
Please listen to it again all the way through without interruption. ☺️ Great keyboardist and unique dance moves. Great, great dancing tune. Makes you feel better when you’re feeling bad.

Great reaction! ABBA is the greatest group ever, hailing from Sweden. English is their 2nd language, and they translated their PHENOMENAL lyrics into English. ABBA stands for: Agnetha Faltskog (Blonde) Benny Anderson (Piano) Bjorn Ulvaeus (Guitar) Anifrid (Frida) Lyngstad Agnetha and Frida's voices are otherworldly. There is no such thing as a bad ABBA song. We were spoiled growing up in the 70's with their music. No other Artists can touch them.
I'm laughing out loud, not at you but justthe mere fact you've discovered ABBA! I love their music. Glad you found them. Check out the Bee Gees and Fleetwood Mac you'll be surprised!
These sound like simple song, but they are incredibly difficult with 4 different harmonies. Both Anna and Frida have their own harmony, they the boys get one each...then they have to sing it in tune. Back in 1977 I went to their first Australian Concert after winning Eurovision in 1974. Agnetha is pronounce ANN YETTA.
This was a US No1 for them.
Nice to see young people discovering ABBA. We old folks already know.

Hello and congratulations for your second reaction to ABBA songs
It is ABBA, the excellent Swedish pop group, the best, most versatile and most important group of the 70s, in the post BEATLES decade (the revolutionary group of the 60s)
ABBA, as in its time BEATLES, was a musical and cultural phenomenon, and its legacy lives on
ABBA is an acrostic with initials of their first names
They was two couples:
Agnetha (blonde lead vocal) &
Björn (guitarist and songwriter)
Benny (pianist and songwriter) &
Anni Frid (brunette lead vocal)
"Dancing Queen" (1976) is a beautiful song, which shines in the loftiness of its vocal harmonies
And the music is bright and enveloping, from the initial chord it introduces you into the atmosphere of the disco and invites you to dance
English public has voted it as one of the songs they want to hear the most, because of the feeling of joy and energy it gives them (another is "Don't stop me now" by Queen)
ABBA recording between 1972/1982, have a wonderful series of more than 20 world hits and no less than 50 other great songs included:

Mamma Mia

Dancing Queen

I am from Stockholm, Sweden. We are very proud of ABBA; their songs never get old. I love your reaction! Keep up the good work. Hugs or "kram" we say in Sweden. XXX
I love ABBA but I lovvve your reaction to their songs.🤩🤩🤩🤩
Thank you sooooo much!!!
Bjorn and Benny (along with Tim Rice) also wrote the musical Chess. Well worth checking out if you like their work.
ABBA: Magicians of Music ❤
It's great to relax to music that is just plain fun. I haven't heard that in the newer music in many years. Unit 4 + 2 did a fun song called "Concrete And Clay"
ABBA was a supergroup in the 70s I listened to them during the 70s when I was a kid ! Agnetha was married to Bjorn the guitar player and Anna -Frida was married to Benny the piano and keyboardist !
Benny's piano really set the mood on this song!
@@kenperk9854 Yeah it’s the vibe of the song for sure !
Thanks for your reaction with this fantastic song of all times

Good for you for recognising a legendary song. .probably the perfect pop song ...from the ultimate pop group
If any song were a diamond track this is the biggest carat of them all. Behold ABBA
Grew up with this band and sound, and then as a proud Aussie our beautiful Kylie Minogue brought it back to life 💃💃💃
This is so funny hearing you say this about music that I heard as a teenager. ABBA the Bee Gees unbelievable music.💙😊
What a cute video with all of the little girls dancing.
LMBO!!!
Luv it when the kids get down with us old fogeys.!
ABBA will keep you busy for a long, long time.
'Name of the Game' is another of Abba's songs. Give it a listen.
I feel lucky to have grown up in the 70s and 80s when ABBA were massive.
Me too
you pickin' some cool tunes girl !! PEACE & LOVE from CANADA !
Agnetha's hair is amazing ! And it's natural colour.
Proud to be a swede! 🇸🇪 ABBA, IKEA and the Nobel Prize are our biggest contributions to the world!
Osthyveln och skohornet och dragkedjan är svensk med.
@@marietornell6058 Nja, osthyveln är väl en norsk uppfinning, om jag inte missminner mig..🤨
Please listen to it again all the way through without interruption. ☺️
Great keyboardist and unique dance moves.
Great, great dancing tune. Makes you feel better when you’re feeling bad.
Loved ABBA back then. Still love em today. Great pick. Beautiful reaction. New to your channel and don't always comment but liking your style, girlfriend. Big shoutout from this old, longhaired, Southern, boy in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Stay cool. Go with God. Much peace and lots of love from all of us, here, in The Great Smoky Mountains, East Tennessee. See ya on the next.
Great reaction! ABBA is the greatest group ever, hailing from Sweden. English is their 2nd language, and they translated their PHENOMENAL lyrics into English. ABBA stands for:
Agnetha Faltskog (Blonde)
Benny Anderson (Piano)
Bjorn Ulvaeus (Guitar)
Anifrid (Frida) Lyngstad
Agnetha and Frida's voices are otherworldly. There is no such thing as a bad ABBA song. We were spoiled growing up in the 70's with their music. No other Artists can touch them.
This was there favourite night club where they recorded dancing Queen...
I'm laughing out loud, not at you but justthe mere fact you've discovered ABBA! I love their music. Glad you found them. Check out the Bee Gees and Fleetwood Mac you'll be surprised!
Kudos for not stopping the music to comment!
During their day, they were the biggest selling artist in the world. They were one of the largest exports of their country--Sweden.
As a Swede it's in your blood and dna =D Abba forever #lottalove
These sound like simple song, but they are incredibly difficult with 4 different harmonies. Both Anna and Frida have their own harmony, they the boys get one each...then they have to sing it in tune. Back in 1977 I went to their first Australian Concert after winning Eurovision in 1974. Agnetha is pronounce ANN YETTA.
