    I’m doing my third year in sound engineering, I’ve been mixing since 2014 I’ve never been satisfied untimely the day I’ve found your templates, I’ve bought them all and made you me mentor. Not only me but even my clients are satisfied and every time i see a notification, I now it’s time to go to school 😂 thank you Emily, I’m very grateful ❤❤

      That’s so awesome to hear, my friend! I’m so glad that the template system has been helpful for you. Good luck with all your schooling! I’ve been there myself. Have fun! ⚡️

    Very nice expo! I just bring it in by ear, more for house music, less for other styles ;-)

    Hi Why did you 400hz to calibrate instead of 1k?
    Regards

      Signal frequency is irrelevant. 400 is less harsh on my ears than 1k.

    Hey Miss Emily, I Truly Appreciate all of Your videos, So much to Gain from them. As a Reaper user is there any way one can take one of Your Mix Templates and and manually Transfer the Info and Routing and such in Your Template to our own Particular DAW. If so, which of Your Temps would be best to work from, and could You Please do a video on this, maybe better for All You and us a Mini Course. It would Truly be a Blessing to All and Much Appreciated.
    Thanks 🙏🏽🙏🏽

      I don’t know of a process like that? You can design a reaper template based on this routing system I’m sure. If you give it a try, let me know how it turns out!

      Thanks for checking out the video! I would love to adapt this template for every DAW. Unfortunately, I am not familiar with them all and already have 4 on my computer system. If I ever get a chance to try Cubase I will certainly get a template out for it.

    why 2db of gain for the parallel busses? Why not 3db, or 4, or 1?

      @emily_bowie  10 месяцев назад +1

      Bc this is what consistently sounds good for vocals.

    I see you’re using white noise to calibrate, wouldn’t pink noise be better since it’s all frequencies evenly?

      I’m just using this signal generator to calibrate a constant signal.
