Good solid tool loadout and nice to see tools that are obviously used! I have the Vessel electric screwdriver and I think it's one of those tools you have to have the correct expectations... It's never going to compete with your Surge, but as a light, handy driver for doing repetitive jobs like panel cover screws or face plate screws, it's ideal...I have the Bosch Go as well, and i think that has a bit more torque, i like the ergonomics and compactness of the Vessel a bit better....

I wasn't a huge fan of that version of the Vessel electric driver, but then I got the 3 speed one... That thing on its highest setting is my most used tool by far, still not gonna do any good for driving wood screws and the like. but for outlets, covers, fixtures it's amazing. the 3 speed uses Japanese style chuck so you can use those super cheap double ended bits, I got the #2 Phillips, and slotted bit, then put a Makita mag boost. pair that with the malco flip socket bit and that handles 90%.
the best part about the driver is the fact that the motor immediately locks up so you can use it like a normal screwdriver. generally untighten by hand, then kick in the electric, and vice versa for putting back in.

There are tons of alternatives to that vessel screwdriver if it's not for you. You gotta get behind the Japanese mindset with thoes it's a thread runner at best small and light for endless hours of work. 50% of my work is done by the 3 speed model (light fixtures fans trims plates easy stuff) and i break free and tighten by hand then use the powered functions. The size is the most appealing since its not much bigger than a vessel regular screwdriver. The alternatives includes bosch go 3 dewalt 8v gyro makita pen impact thoes all have some gusto. If your on a budget az basics aka Denali screwdriver has torque but not comfortable in my book for 20 bucks. Not many have over 20 to 25 ilbs the regular or brushless m12 screwdriver is an option as well. For the 70 80 bucks kinda big and outdated but has the power you want.

100% if I can save myself from getting carpal tunnel when I’m in my 40s-50s I’m gonna try! Saves my wrist from repetitious movements

Health or not im lazy on things I don't need to work harder at for no reason. If there's a way for me and my guys to do the work easier for a little money and said item makes me money in the long run it's a win win! That one i saw there looks like the usa version of it blue switch not Japan. I also wonder if it's the usb c version that's the only model the 3 speed version I can even recommend. I had the old low speed higher torque version for years and it needed some improvements that they did with the new 3 speed one. Japan models tend to be worlds cheaper on az jp can be as low as 20 dollars to 36 for the special editions (crystal purple blue ect). Usa models are 80 range they gouge us here in usa. Whatever works for you great 👍 just stay open to new stuff.

Glad your getting to work together don't kill each other. He's starting with a good bag but it's concerning that he looses tools. I have a guy that will loose tools from time to time and he gets some of the lower end for a reason. That could change when gets organized and second guesses where's my 70 dollar pair of cobalt cutters. It's all a mindset and how you do things (also helps when you buy your own tools loosing them sucks). In the past I had a consumables guy that would loose tapes and utilty knifes so at Holday time I buy up at hd milwaukee 2pc tapes utilty knives squares buy 3 get 20 off. 150 to 200 in thoes usdaly gets me to next year 😆. I'm excited for you and looking forward to see where it ends up.

Your comment on the circuit breaker finder reminded me of how it was before my klein et 450. That should be on your list when money rolls in it makes tracing easy. Ideal sure trace is more but it's good too. If you want good clip on bit holders railer makes thoes and there way better dare I say as good as vessel for holding bits that clip on. It's only 18 for 5 but better than generics.

solid. my one criticism/ suggestion is get some rechargable AAA's .....find your gizmo, computer, nerd friend, and pick their brain about the best ones. i just started using powerowl about a week or so ago. got the charger and a 24 pack of batteries for 40 bucks. if they last past 2-3 charges (why wouldnt they?) ive already saved money over buying new batteries.
