I’ve been heavily considering becoming an electrician. I’m 22 and just went to work straight out of high school but now I Really wish I went to college. Now I’m in a situation where I’m out on my own and not sure if I’ll be able to make it work if I went to college. And unfortunately there are no big electrical business in my town, just all small, self owned companies. So unless they are willing to hiring me and train me I’m not sure what to do.

I definitely think working in a small town might be in your favor then a big company starting out, you might get more one on one training, I would go speak with each one of the companies and let them know your interested and motivated to start your electrical career. These jobs run anywhere from 4k to 6k depending on the model of generator. It's around that price, usually. Some places push for more depending if you do the gas line or not

I love the content brother, seeing your hard work is making me work harder! The workout was awesome, however, I am concerned about your breathing though. It "looks" like you're holding your breath and not exhaling on the concentric portion of the exercises, if so, building up dangerous amounts of pressure. You should be exhaling on the concentric, and inhaling on the eccentric portions.

I think all 3 are really good it just depends one what you prefer. Residential will be more dealings with houses, Commercial is more business & industrial is more working in the plants/refineries. Take your time with the decision but there definitely opportunities out there for you. Sorry again & You Got This Brother!🙏🏽 My company we do all 3 but mostly residential & commercial.

Only thing I'm concerned about is I plan on moving out when I'm 19 ish to probably South Carolina should I wait to get licensed in south Carolina or still do it in Alabama when I'm 18 also should I do trade school or just hop straight into being an apprentice? Sorry if this is too much I just have so many questions.
@@kaifran08 Ok I understand, I’m not sure if the licensing transfers from state to state I would check that out, but if they don’t I would get your license in South Carolina since that’s going to be your residency for the foreseeable future. Trade school or Apprenticeship, honestly I think starting the apprenticeship works better for me because you’re still getting paid & learning at the same time. I think it just depends on what works for you!

@@TheApprenticeToJourneyman I feel like now it is. Application is the easy part as long as you have the required documents. The aptitude test was pretty tough in regards to the algebra for my local. Interviewing in a panel format was different than any other interview I’ve had before. Overall a long process but sooo worth it. Now just waiting game for me. 🤞
