Man love seeing thing like this I’m a year and half apprentice working for Generac super center installing generator the same way just we use pvc pipe but everything else the same. Love seeing people show pride in there work!
Thanks I really appreciate it, I really enjoyed install my first Generator I learned a lot. How is it working with Generac? Congratulations on your journey to Brother!👍🏽
Keep it up man, I've been a journeyman for 6 years and still can't bend 1 1/4" that great haha.
Appreciate it Brother, I’m trying..😂
Appreciate it Brother, I’m trying..😂
reallyenjoy your content, Ive applied to become an apprentice electrician with ESB here in Ireland, hoping to make this my living one day
Mack That’s amazing! How is the process in Ireland? Keep taking one day at a time somebody will give you an opportunity.. Thanks again for the support!🙏🏽
You’re an inspiration bro gonna watch all your videos🙏
I appreciate it Brother, I have a lot to learn just taking it day by day..🙏🏽
Good job bro💪 keep it up I am a month in into my apprenticeship can’t wait to keep on learning
Congratulations Bro, Keep taking it day by day.. You Got This!👍🏽
Also, get a hydraulic punch - milwaukee is great for sure but you can grab a hydraulic one for around $100
I’ll definitely look into it, I appreciate it!👍🏽
Keep up the great work son...... It will definitely pay off...
Yes sir, I appreciate it.. One Day At a Time..🙏🏽
Very nice work! keep at it and you will succeed.
Thank you Shawn I appreciate man!👍🏽
That is an excellent install, the only thing that I would do differently is I would have bent that 3/4" emt with the 1¹/⁴" bender so the radius would match .
Thank you James, I didn’t know we could do something like that. But you’re right it probably would have looked a little better now that you say that. Thanks again for the support & advice!👍🏽
Great video and great job! When searching for work did you primarily look online or did you go door to door? I’m currently wanting to get into the trade and I feel like applying online with zero experience in the trade is negatively impacting my chances right now.
Appreciate Shawn! I felt the same way when I was applying on indeed, nobody called me or emailed me.. I looked in my local area and called every electrical company & I went to a place in my local area which is called IEC. I went and applied and they send your application/resume to local contractors and I finally got a call back.. Thats how I got my first opportunity. Let me know how it goes Shawn!👍🏽
I been a while for me I haven’t watch your content you came a long way bro!! Question I am currently at my early 40’s how long would it take me to become a electrician besides going to a apprenticeship
Thanks for the support! They have so many options but if you’re doing electrical and you want to get your journeyman license one day you will have do your 4 year apprenticeship. They also have Generators Techs, HVAC Techs. But if you don’t have alot of experience you kind of have to start from the bottom & work your way up..👍🏽
Good work. Just wondering other that the big EMT that comes off the meter into the transfer switch, what inside those two smaller EMT from the transfer switch. Looking forward to your response.
Thanks for the support Brother, Hopefully I read your question right but in the 3/4 Conduit we have our control wires & in the 1 1/4 we have our four conductors. 2 hots, neutral & a ground… Hope I answered your question.. Thanks again!👍🏽
@@TheApprenticeToJourneyman Thanks for your response .. can I assume since the control wire is not shielded that's why they are in a separate emt?
@@richstarstar it was definitely shielded, I’m not sure the exact reason but I’ll ask my journeyman tomorrow & give you a better answer on why we did it like that!👍🏽
Wow? Is your Journeyman a licensed *Master Electrician (ME 01’ license)? What license does your Journeyman have?
Yes sir he is!
is this union or service
I’m currently non union..👍🏽
