    That is an excellent install,the only thing that I would do differently is I would have bent that 3/4" emt with the 1¹/⁴" bender so the radius would match .

      Thank you James, I didn’t know we could do something like that. But you’re right it probably would have looked a little better now that you say that. Thanks again for the support & advice!👍🏽

    Great video and great job! When searching for work did you primarily look online or did you go door to door? I’m currently wanting to get into the trade and I feel like applying online with zero experience in the trade is negatively impacting my chances right now.

      Appreciate Shawn! I felt the same way when I was applying on indeed, nobody called me or emailed me.. I looked in my local area and called every electrical company & I went to a place in my local area which is called IEC. I went and applied and they send your application/resume to local contractors and I finally got a call back.. Thats how I got my first opportunity. Let me know how it goes Shawn!👍🏽

    I been a while for me I haven’t watch your content you came a long way bro!! Question I am currently at my early 40’s how long would it take me to become a electrician besides going to a apprenticeship

    • @TheApprenticeToJourneyman
      @TheApprenticeToJourneyman  Месяц назад

      Thanks for the support! They have so many options but if you’re doing electrical and you want to get your journeyman license one day you will have do your 4 year apprenticeship. They also have Generators Techs, HVAC Techs. But if you don’t have alot of experience you kind of have to start from the bottom & work your way up..👍🏽

    Good work. Just wondering other that the big EMT that comes off the meter into the transfer switch, what inside those two smaller EMT from the transfer switch. Looking forward to your response.

      Thanks for the support Brother, Hopefully I read your question right but in the 3/4 Conduit we have our control wires & in the 1 1/4 we have our four conductors. 2 hots, neutral & a ground… Hope I answered your question.. Thanks again!👍🏽

      @@TheApprenticeToJourneyman Thanks for your response .. can I assume since the control wire is not shielded that's why they are in a separate emt?

    • @TheApprenticeToJourneyman
      @TheApprenticeToJourneyman  2 месяца назад

      @@richstarstar it was definitely shielded, I’m not sure the exact reason but I’ll ask my journeyman tomorrow & give you a better answer on why we did it like that!👍🏽
