The key feature of this patented invention is the ability to control where your transducer is looking even when you have your trolling motor on spot lock or pointed in a different direction. You can do this with your foot via wireless remote foot switches or the key fab remote. This works great with your Garmin™ Panoptix, Humminbird Mega Live and Lowrance Active Target transducers.
The Live Foot™ runs off your 12 volt battery, drawing less than 1amp, and utilizes a high torque motor, ridged stainless steel tubing, high grade aluminum mount with adjustable length.
That's a nice option. I'm definitely going to look into it more.
Also, I like the smaller footpedal since my Deep-V doesn't have a lot of room at the front. Looks like it turns a little fast so I wonder how easy it is to do very small moves. I like that Rite-Hite offers 2rpm and 5rpm options.
Wow that does look like a nice clean install. There was some thought put into that one. What's the plastic collar about a foot below the head? Does it allow for adjusting shaft length?
Yes, the black collar allow you to adjust the height to your liking and also allows you to shorten it up when trailering etc. As far as the speed, I've had both mentioned and really, really happy with this responsiveness and smoothness of the foot pedal and key fab remote on the Live Foot.
Going to be purchasing mine today was wondering if you can use the garmin perspective mount with it?
Did you ever purchase it? I was curious if the speed was an issue since it doesn’t have a variable speed control.

Would you consider offering a stabilizer between the two shafts so it doesn't bounce around when stowed?

also.... need to make the shaft in a matt black finish. Thing looks like a cheap shower curtain rod.
