And here in 2022 and all the years before 1975 until you're passing I still mourn you, miss your friendship miss you wit miss you a logic I miss you you dear beloved Human being. How blessed I was for 38 years of your friendship and I carry you and heart and then prayer till we meet again.
This was an eye opener. I so love Ms Harris and miss her. She is fascinating. She is so intelligent and intellectual. The most fantastic role she ever played was in Member of the Wedding. ❤❤
We must never forget her. She added so much to the theater and film industry. She was just perfection. She always made a part her own. All of her films are triumphs and I am grateful that they filmed some of her plays. The Haunting was just exceptional.
I too was quite surprised that there was no applause after she recited the poem. I wonder if it was edited out. She seemed to be whisked away rather abruptly.
Hoss, who's visiting the Carter ranch to buy some horses, and Sara Carter (Harris' character) are attracted to each other because her husband has shut his family out after his son's death from a horse fall, thus making her inordinately lonely for herself and heartbroken for her remaining children, in her own house. Landon, who co wrote the episode, redid it as an episode on "Little House," with himself in the Hoss role and Corinne Comacho in the Harris role. Could not compare to the original simply because Harris was in it. She was utterly stunning in any role she chose to take on.
