@leonardodemelo3711 Actually that's kinda been debated about. A lot of people say that Esther Lee "Baby Esther" Jones (a child star) was the first one to really popularize the "Boop Boop Be Doop" thing, in her jazz songs. Sadly, Esther was a child star who was also a black girl in 1920's Harlem, and she dropped off the face of the earth. She was pretty big nack in the day, but there's little to no recordings of her performances and no one knows what really happened to her. Though that doesn't mean that Helen Kane wasn't at least the inspiration of Betty looks wise. But she was also inspired by a lot of her contemporaries (using the baby voice, her scatting style, the hair, etc.)
There is no need for shouting! If you don’t like it that’s fine. I’m sorry I don’t have a better quality sounding record, and I don’t have a way to remove surface noise. I also, use a mic on my iPhone that is picking up the sound through the speakers. I’m sure you could find a better quality version of this song on RUclips. Just do a search. Have a Pleasant Day.
@@lucas8385 I thought you were leaving a nasty comment? As this video has some dislikes. Plus the record was rather inexpensive. I have quite a number of records that are not in pristine condition.
@@NippersLounge No bro it was not meant to be a nasty comment It was supposed to be a meme and i know records have a lot of distortion this one is just extra
I love the old record distortions. Reminds me of when I was a kid!
Thank you!
Me too!!!
@johnlang1933 I guess it can’t be all bad. As the video has 3.5k views and 150 likes 👍.
Warped records were a fine sight to see at work
@thomasbest8599 interesting
Almost 100 years old...crazy!!
I know! Right?
Releasd the year my mother was born, it would've been a golden oldie even to her.
That’s cool!
Anyways I’m glad that I’ve finally checked out the proto-model of Betty Boop.❤😂🎉
just one thing to say boop boop badoo...boop boop badoo? BOOP BOOP BADOO !!!
Of course!

House of 1000 corpses movie . Epic
Okay
I'm an old hippie and we were heqvily influenced by the flaming youth of the 20s.
Cool!
Wasn't she the voices of Betty Boop and Olive Oyl?
No, it was voice actress Mae Questel . Helen Kane tried to sue Fleischer Cartoons, for supposedly stealing her voice and likeness. She lost the case.
@@NippersLounge so cool that Mae Questel was Aunt Bethany in Christmas Vacation. ❤️
I didn’t know that?
No…but she was the inspiration…she is the original Boop Bop Ba Do gal!

Very nice. I think 78s ought to have at least a bit of crackle and distortion, or else they don't sound authentic. Thanks 😀 👍
Thank you!
Nat Shilkret orchestra provides the background music.
Did not know that?
TURN UP THE DISTORTION I CAN ALMOST HEAR THE SONG

Marilyn Monroe sang this to great affect in probably her biggest box-office success - "Some Like it Hot."
