Big thumbs up to the whole crew but that pole driver earned his pay. It’s awesome to see someone going above and beyond and takes pride in doing a good job.
Agreed 👍 👍 👍
Pilot car driver on the stick has done this a few times definitely a guy you want to continue to use Hell he even pulled a powerless dog dually outta the ditch. Great job by all👍🇺🇸
Steve is the only person I've heard of that played in the mud on the interstste while on pilot car duty
@@claytonprescott8345😂
I retired from truck driving after 32 years, I enjoy watching this type of videos. { yup still in my blood.}
I think what makes these videos so compelling is the audio. Tims dad is a rockstar regarding communication with his crew. This is a gnarly job and people that make it look easy should be celebrated.
Rockstar might be an understatement, much much respect for how he treats his team!!🍻🍻
Lief you are right the CB sound made it so much better!
Not only a Rockstar at communicating but a hell of a truck driver.
These last two videos are probably the best that you all have done, it's bad enough dealing with people just pulling a regular trailer I can't imagine pulling a load like that, good job folks!!
Steve's videos are on another level 👍
Best video out of Tim yet
Tim, these videos are great. Steve did an awesome job editing these first 2 video's. Kudos to Steve.
@@boggsr2
Tim didn't have anything to do with this video
@@tylerwhite4743 his truck his dad driving his brother riding with dad I’m sure Tim has nothing to do with it!
Tim's DAD is the best of the best
Best content ever on the GnS RUclips channel, bar none!
It's almost like watching Discovery Channel but without all the manufactured drama!
Facts! This is REAL DRAMA. I've done big loads non escort and get the puckers I can only imagine something as big and delicate as this boat!
That's funny everyone is saying this. I bet Tim's ego is hurting
Grandpa Gentry is a old school truck driver, keeping his cool in that situation was spot on,as a retired truck driver of 15 years now my hat is off to him
I have to admit prior to seeing this video I was one of those a-holes blowing by thinking the road was mine. Never again! The amount of skill and patience you guys have in doing this is unbelievable. New found respect for all of you guys. You officially have the right of way when I’m around!
Yes and it helps when people have a cb radio in their vehicle where they can talk 2 them. As a truck driver myself, I always help oversized loads where I can

Hat tip to you for stepping into it and learning something new that will change your life and help others. Not many are willing to expand their knowledge like you just did.
To be fair they should be required to have a highway portal escort before doing stupid stunts like they are doing - I get what they are doing might be necessary (to get the job done) but it does not mean it's not stupid and they are putting other people at risk... 7:02 9:23 16:06 17:22 19:30 etc (just a few)...
@@gatorage850
The state has mandated that these oversized vehicles hire escorts and you are seeing escorts at work.
Do you know what flashing yellow lights mean on a vehicle?
They are alerting all other motorists to proceed with caution. They are there to let you, the other drivers know that there is a road hazard in that location. You’re supposed to slow down and take note that something is unusual on the road: be it an obstruction, a vehicle parked in a travel lane, a vehicle moving in the opposite direction, a slow vehicle.
One is not supposed to continue driving like they are on a NASCAR track like they do the rest of the time.
Courtesy is all that’s required on the road
This video is next level! Music and editing is on point!! You need to make a channel with nothing but this heavy haul large load content!! Next up reality show!!
Thank Steve Feszchek of FSC trucking. He's top notch when it comes to cinematography.
Or have Mike rowe narrative on it
Hats off to that young lady! For an excellent job!
Keeping the train of traffic clear. Outstanding work like a veteran. Very impressed by her road traffic and skills. 👍👍🥂
I love that you explain yourself to the haters and those who dont know how the heavy haul works, but just know they dont need an explanation for there KAREN attitudes lol. but this I why I love this channel your a genuinely good guy.
I hauled oversized boats for 4 years then a car carrier for 14.... lemme tell you pops got balls of steel!! It is nerve racking as hell and you can’t rest till that boat is delivered and off the trailer. Got my respect
man you can tell that wasn't Tim's dad first rodeo, talk about grace under pressure!, well done sir, well done!
As a former OTR/Dedicated Route driver for the "Orange Company", I wish it was mandated that every POV driver had to ride shotgun with a semi-driver for 1 -2 days or a virtual trip through a designated DMV. They would better understand our limitations. When I drove, I took my family members (even my, not-yet-licensed daughter) and friends on my runs. That really opened their eyes. They each have a better respect for big rigs and what the drivers have to endure on each run. To this day, I follow the 10-second rule when changing lanes. Oh, and yes, If I can see both of your headlights in my rearview mirror, I will then signal my intent to cross over in front of you. RESPECT!
I did the same thing and they are all better drivers today for it!
Schneider
Next time Tim say's Dad go get this boat, Finis is just going to go home, LOL!
It's like watching Convoy all over again 😅
Best videos ever produced on this channel. Very little wandering around talking just excellent content. Tim take lessons on how this was recorded, edited and produced and you will have 500k subscribers no problem. Made me wish I was young enough to still be out driving on the road. What an incredible learning experience for the young lady driving a pilot car!
As a retired firefighter/EMT for 26 years people are definitely CRAZY on the road and pay NO attention to traffic control of any type.
I sit Here on the edge of my seat watching this. Great job everybody
Dee is doing a wonderful job for that to be her first time 👌❤
Tim’s Dad is the Gentry that makes Gentry & sons He is a TRUE PROFESSIONAL DRIVER and COMMUNICATOR
MUCH RESPECT To Tim’s DAD and his Crew they did a Awesome job
IM glad to see more of ur dad good job
Steve's videos are the best, always love his external shots.
This is one of the best videos I’ve seen, Tim’s dad and that whole crew knocked it out of the park.
I pulled a lot of over size with a 4 axle talbert trailer but never had a good team like y’all got here. Everyone helping out an being smart about the moves u make. Y’all gotta good team here Tim.
Tim Roster is the Beast of the Peterbilt ❤❤
I’ve got to say your dad is one heck of a drive , most drives when pulling they rock those truck your dad is as smooth as silk
You need to hire this whole crew and keep them on your payroll! True professionals, under pressure! kudos to D for a stellar job her first time out!
He can't afford that, that's a lot of money on a small company
I've seen trucks hauling oversize loads for years while driving around but ever knew what the pilot cars purpose was. These videos give me a new appreciation for the work they do. Tim, you are so lucky to have Finis as your Dad. What a great man!
Shes doing pretty good for her 1st run hell yeah Dee. Dads doing 1 hell of a job hell yeah. Both videos styles are cool the daily vlogs and the trips
That’s wild. Folks have no idea what it takes for yall on a daily basis bro !
Great video! Dee is my hero. You go girl! Watching her back up blocking a Florida highway. Knowing Florida drivers I'm shocked the boat doesn't have bullet holes in it. This was teamwork at its finest.
what a great job everyone working together
You need Steve to follow you around he’s doing a great job
You had one Job Ste
Like both types of content. Some of those bridges made me nervous as hell and I wasn't even there. Way to go to everyone involved.
The old man showing jr ( tim ) how its done !
Tim knows how it's done.
Finis
I didn't say tim didn't know how its done!! Dam'n !! Just trying to have fun with tim .
@countryboy4693 like he's reading it nore is it funny.
Someone should relax, just a touch. Countryboy's comment was meant in fun, with a light heart. Jerry, much love and kindness to you.
I'm a truck driver in California and I know how it is but you guys are badass 😮🖤💯💪🚛
Pops looked about 20 years younger with that ish eating grin being behind the wheel on an oversize again. Never lost his CB voice either, impressive to watch. All involved are very professional. Dont feel too bad Steve, I don't think most of us were expecting there to be a truck wide swamp there either.
What a great rig Rooster is. 6:02
I give you guys a lot of crab on your videos, but these last two are the best I've seen on RUclips. Your Dad should be the roll model of what all truck drivers should be. I spent 30 years behind the wheel and hauled over size. He is a class act. The videos are awesome.
Tell Steve, there's no time to play in the mud! 🤣 Also tell Dee she did an amazing job for her fist run!
You guys need to be buy Dee a real radio as a bonus and keep her around great job 👏 👍 👌 😊
I have a radio I will give Dee!!
Omg Tim this video is something I've never seen from your channel. I mean it's like I'm watching TV the production is so high quality. I mean the first like 3 min I was hooked I couldn't leave the video. Like wow good job great video.
Mr. Gentry is a BOSS….and a GREAT team!!!
Great job everybody! You all handled it like the champions you are. I also want to say I love the editing that Steve has done with these videos. His choice of music is outstanding! Keep up the great work everyone!
Tim you gotta keep this filming style for these this is bar none your best work! I love how raw and real this feels, we need more of this!
The best two Videos yet. Tims Dad kept it all together.
Tim I love the content. I loved staying on the edge of my chair .Keep it coming.
Pure magic and such a trip down memory lane. Got my CDL at 23, 54 now. Did not make trucking a career but stayed in it and stayed licensed. 4 months experience took a load of new chicken cages from Nacagdoches TX to a Perdue chicken plant in NJ? 14 ft high but no escorts and no bridge tag pole clearance vehicle. Grown a lot since then but the pucker factor on this video brought back some memories. That was an 86 FL extended bunk Cabover with a steel 48 ft non spread flatbed. We all look back on our 20’s and roll our eyes. Thank you for the content. Tim’s Dad is the OG. Tim rocks too. Brax is gonna be a weapon. Best to you all.
This was some of the BEST trucking footage ive EVER seen!! I felt every moment of stress like i was there, the whole team did an amazing job, despite the crazy inpatient drivers.
Steve did an amazing job with the editing, Tim I appreciate the work you do, so whatever you can do without impeding your business will continue to attract your true supporters. Great job at highlighting your dad’s work too! 🍻🍻
It's like watching a edge of your seat movie great job Steve 👏 👍🏼
😅😅😅Steve decided to do a little bit of mud bogging in Florida. Lol.
Needles and pins !!! I puckered up and I ain't even on the road ...
That was one hell of a journey! Well done to all those involved. I cannot understand why people in cars think trucks can turn around in the same space as they can, just makes your work all that harder.
You can always spot a professional driver! Great driving!
Now this is why I subscribe I freakin love these type of vids!!!
Absolutely AMAZING job!!! Excellent team work!!! You guys (and gal) ROCK!!!
Steve an Dee doing great
I've hauled wide loads and heavy loads but man that load is nerve wrecking ya'll are definitely professionals great job and video
Good team, video, reality on the road never seen by me before, looking good guys, stressful no walkin the park,Rooster looking long tall and Hansom. Fun to watch
What's happening Tim. All I can say wow dude is your father is awesome. The man knows how to get the job done and rest of the team kick ass as well brother this is the best yet that has come from you brother and can't wait to see part 3. Keep up the good videos. Gentry and son's trucking is kicking ass and making a name. Big Joe in Dayton ohio
You all need a cameras on top the boat so we can see how close it is. Great job fellers.👍
Tim, I hope the guys watching that video that you’re hauling the boat for so he could see the problem y’all overcome getting that boat moved good video man your daddy needs a raise🤦♂️😂
26:43 Looks to me like the young lady in the tail car was enjoying every minute of the experience. =)
That was an awesome video Tim....really liked it...just shows what all has to be done to move an oversize load...Stay safe and see you on the next one
It’s very clear that Tim had a great tutor to give him what he knows. 👏
100% a butt puckering, avoiding the stupidity of the people who should not have control of any vehicle or allowed on any road.
Dads got a great crew and the control of the situation.
Tim your film crew, editing, music, made a very enjoyable experience. Thanks to all that were involved ✌️😎
Nice how you kept it moving Steve very impressive
I’m in love with all of y’all’s guys videos especially these last two videos
I just gained a whole new respect for these over sized haul guys.
A thriller! Love the action! I hope the owner of the boat watches this to see the professionalism and care you took!
Dad's brain is working overtime
Good thing no one checked your Dad's blood pressure during this pull. I was nervous enough for him.
Amazing driving from the whole team
I was thinking the same thing. Expecting to see an ambulance 🚑 next
your dad is a very brave man, even though he said that he was afraid he still road that wild mule until it became his friend. Old rooster has got so much power that you can't tell what it's going to do next.
DAD WHAT A LEGEND !! What a team nice work dad for president i tell you
One of the best videos l have seen the whole team worked awesome together, exciting and suspenful, also the filming and editing was excellent.
Yes Tim make more videos like these, The very best Trucking Video I've ever seen , Steve , You Dad and the pilot car team y'all are fantastic, real drama real hard working crew doing hard work and totally professional, photography is 100% perfect like , please make sure Steve gets a huge shout out.
Tim these last 2 videos were amazing! Keep doing your videos like this and your channel will blow up. But we still love to see your personal every day videos of you family and crew doing things at the shop, farm ect.. LOVE THE CHANNEL!!!
I used to be one of those impatient drivers until I started watching videos like these. It definitely has changed how I drive when I see these situations. Good luck and nice work!
Tim you need to update that system in Georgia we have some new bridges
Yes I really enjoyed see you guys work - getting it done. Your father knows 👍. He don’t play with rooster truck. She getting a good work done👍. Bad ass Pete
Steve and Dee are amazing additions to the oversized vids. Keep up the good work Dee
You the man Tim, no one does a Trucking channel like you do! Keep it up like you’re doing, and yes we want more videos like this one! I have been a Truck Driver for 16 years now and have hauled over-size but never have we been able to see it in real time except through a windshield. Love your channel. HOOAH!!!
Tim's channel has gotten a lot better since Steve filmed and edited.
I used to tear down move and set up asphalt plants - We never had escorts - I can see the co-ordination needed - Good work
Definitely need to see more of your Dad he's awesome
That’s how it is . I use to drive across country loved it
This video gave me a whole perspective on over side loads. Awesome video, that pole drive earned his pay x 2. Thank you Tim for sharing and education us on over size loads.
Good lady I don’t know your name but you did an awesome job escort these knuckleheads😂😂😂 I’m just playing they’re all a bunch of good people. That’s a rarity in the world today.👍👍👍
The Bridge was a little close Had to hold my breath. Great job Guys.. Hope Tim wasn`t watching...you bring everything you choose .... I am good with whatever..
I must say the radio traffic between spotters and truck driver...WELL DONE
After getting my HGV license in 2021 I find it almost comical how quickly my patience grew & care for impatient people who don’t under stand you have to slow everything down and go at a safe speed for you and everyone around you including them diminished! HGV being UK’s CDL I believe but god dammit I am jealous of the beast’s y’all get to haul loads in. The trucks you guys build are what I’ve always dreamed of owning how ever i won’t be able to achieve that in Scotland :(
Y’all ever need a driver holla at me I’m only 9 hours flight away give or take haha, get’er done boys ya do what you gotta do, keep it up y’all are killing it!
These have been the best videos. Please keep doing both styles of video
I love watching these PROFESSIONALS work. Best videos so far. Dad needs a raise!!
Ih how I miss those days of adventure Thanks for sharing this The day in the life of an oversizer
Pah Gentry for someone who's nervous you got some sand older brother and a great team that shows the same ❤😊
This is an excellent video and Steve did a great job editing
Tim your dad is a super driver. Steve is a great camera guy too. Like this video.
Wow, awesome video. Thanks for sharing. As a retired police officer glad it was you driving and not me. Be safe
I used to haul heavy construction equipment 50 years ago so I know about the pucker factor. You guys are AWESOME!!!!
