    Wow we have the same dish called krin krin in sierra leone. Sometimes we add dry fish and palm oil instead of vegetable oil

    Delicious. We have a similar dish in Liberia called Palava( jute leaf) sauce. We add palm oil instead.

      @@blackbeauty7367pondu is similar but not the same - pondu as cassava vs jute leave has different texture. But yes it is very similar.

      @@tomaitoejute leaves stew known as ewedu in Yoruba and we eat with pounded yam, eba, semolina. It’s what we call swallow food. If you know what I mean. Very tasty.

      You can get it at a Haitian store and African store- in Nigerian stores in the US it’s in the frozen section labeled as Jute leaves.

      Legume is more veggies. Lalo is just spinach and jute leaves. Personally i like lalo better
