When I open my ROM file I get the error. "Unknown ROM Image" I have to pick between two options 1. Abort 2. Create new definition. Why am I getting this error?

Can you only use evoscan to log data and ecuflash to reflash the ecu? Or can you use evoscan to reflash the ecu as well? New to the subject so any help would be appreciated.
