In your interview with Jeff Bookout, you REALLY pushed the fogging...said you bought a machine and use it all the time; it's so great. I just dropped a couple hundred bucks on his website and then hear you agree with the inspector in this interview that it's not so great and only helps buy time if you live in an apartment. This sort of conflicting information is discouraging to say the least and leads me to believe there is no true solution. I've spent the last decade attempting to convince my mechanical contractor husband that mold is an actual, legitimate problem. It's a hard sell when there are multiple non-solutions and inconsistent recommendations, it's no wonder some people just give up...
if you are looking for black and white answers, there is no such thing. There is a place for fogging but NOT instead of proper remediation. This has never changed and fogging is still an excellent solution but will not ever replace proper remediation .....
Wow, great news on mold testing access for everyone!! Looking forward to Brian's business to expand & be available for people in need. Thanks Jill, love your guests ❤️
Great info and I have experienced many of these issues myself before deciding to strip back my house and rebuild. Note some of the buying examples are only relevant to the US but still good tactics
Would using a black light help to spot mold in a dark space? I found some aspergillus on the ceiling joist in my basement but can't tell how extensive the problem is because it is hard to see. Thank you.
This is great information. Thank you
