Tom's hair looks fabulous! Wish Orvis sold genuine Rosenbauer wigs to help us improve our fly game...maybe something for next year's April 1st market release!? I think the trout would notice!

Tim, you AND Tom should come up to Ontario for some outstanding brookies on the Rocky Saugeen. Jack.

All true. I’m amazed when a little 5” brookie takes a #6 streamer (when I’m fishing for browns). Mr R is the best. Thank you

Two of my all time favorite fly fishers! But, to modify what you said about doing what Tom says when you are fishing with him, you should do whatever your guide tells you to do! Great video and please keep them coming! Very edutaining!

I liked the dynamic between the two of you, - would be great if it would be possible to make a fishing video with the two of you together where you show your different styles of approach, fly selection, pool selection etc. Big thumbs up from Norway

Brookie fishing is a blast!! I prefer the Royal Wolf. Just stay outta sight and hit the water with your fly. Easy peasy, right?? 😂😂😂😂

"You never know where they are going to be" @ 6:48. Not true. Brook trout definitely have feeding stations and if you fish a lot of mountain brook trout water, you can absolutely systematically target these feeding stations; and the main current/seam isn't necessarily the first station to target. And contrary to the notion that you should look for depth, brookies during the spring and summer will move into the shallows at the tail and edges of a pool and will also move into shallow

thanks for mentioning the water temperature. what also should be mentioned is that it's not about numbers. even if mortality is only 10%, that's still one lost for a ten fish day. conservation is key for wild trout.

Not many tips??? I have fished Brook trout for 50 years plus and wet flys will out fish dry by a huge margin the vast majority of the time in my experience! Caught many thousands with wets so hardly even bother with drys! I am fortunate as I live in Nfld. where brook trout are native … normal to hook and land a hundred on a good morning with some luck! Tight lines!
