Loved the video! Lot's a good tips that I already do, and a couple of new ones! One I might add: Some tippet spools have a ring in the elastic band that helps keep the line from unreeling off of it. I insert the end of the line through that ring and pull it off as I use it. It's easier to find, and I don't have to mess with so much when I'm on the water using the spool to add material to leaders.
Great idea, thanks so much for sharing! I hope all is well on your end. Tim www.troutandfeather.com
Honestly, just thinking about this yesterday. Great timing and thank you
Glad it showed up at the same time, Bill! Please consider sharing this video with some of your fly fishing friends. Tim www.troutandfeather.com
Tippet rings rule. Thanks for the tips.
Agree, Andrew, have you used the micro swivels yet? Tim www.troutandfeather.com
@@TimCammisa Knot yet Tim. I have some, was going to try them out next week when bass season opens.
"Knot" had me cracking up...well played!
Can't figure out how you can tie on tippet from a spool with a surgeons know without cutting the tippet off the spool first. What am I missing?
Hi Josh, the knot used for connecting two pieces was a blood knot. Hope all is well! Tim www.troutandfeather.com
Tim awesome trip mr. Thanks for sharing great stuff guys 👍🇺🇸🗽🇺🇸🎏
Have gun will travel and fly Rod in hand! The Vermonter
You got it, and I hope all is well! Tim www.troutandfeather.com
Didn’t understand knot in dropper nymph tag, please elaborate
Will get back to you re: that one, James. When I have a dropper, I will tie it around the standing line (overhand knot) which helps to kick it more towards the leader (versus point fly). One additional step that prevents the line from tangling. Tim www.troutandfeather.com

Thanks so much for the kind emojis! Tim www.troutandfeather.com
