so goood! I have been through a million videos trying to find this information. All the other videos just say which tippet they use but not why they use it. Love that I can use a fresh leader without tippet for a little while too. No one else will ever make a video telling me that ha!

I want to know the difference between tippet and fishing line of the same diameter.

In Tenkara fly fishing can you use let's say a 7X leader and no Tippet at all since the 7X leader reduces down to a tippet section anyway? For the most part In Tenkara fly fishing you attach a tippet to the line and never use a leader. So can you use a 7X leader since it has a built in tippet at the end?
