This is what makes the podcast so great everyone one of the guests really opens up. They tell their truths and their darkest pain but saying that I felt Laura vandervoort didn't quite open up. I don't know about anyone but I felt like she was guarded not quite revealing anything. I felt Michael was prodding her with each step and even then she revealed nothing like who did you not get on with on the set that cause you to walk out, how was feeling etc,
This man just vocalized perfectly the feeling of depression. Most people think it's sadness. It's not. It's hopelessness. It's the inability to experience joy. It's loss of purpose.
You’ve described depression so well. Thank you for your comment.♥️ I’ve suffered from extremely debilitating, suicidal depression my entire adult life, and no one understands it because I don’t know a single person that even has any kind of depression. It’s been very lonely and miserable, and the worst part of it is I have no ability whatsoever to feel any kind of joy, nor matter what I do or the circumstances I’m in. I’m basically trapped in a living hell, and the torment is indescribable and I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. I wish I was never born so I’m not put on earth just to suffer endlessly. It’s not fair…I didn’t ask for this.🥺
My dad took his own life in 2012, no note, nothing. Being open about what happened and talking about it and forgiveness really saved me, props to alan for being open about his issues

A genuine empathic individual. Really like this guy and am so glad he speaks openly about mental health. The stigma is awful and it is so unfair. No one would say such things about a cancer diagnosis or autoummune condition. People don't treat people with mental health issues with same level of decency and respect. Telling a depressed person to "snap out of it," is insulting and cruel. You wouldn't tell person who has a heart attack to just smile and think happy thoughts. Riduculous. This actor is terrific and I'm watching Reacher now. It's excellent.
Couldn't agree more. Not going to lie....been facing a dark time myself, call it a mid-life crisis with alot of negative events that have occurred with such a lack of motivation.....Alan, your story hit me hard...as I lay in my bed...not wanting to get up...knowing I need to get up, work out and not knowing how. Your story literally gave me a blueprint of small steps to get the he'll up! Thank you from the bottom of my heart. It has been over a year of HELL and have no idea what my purpose is right now BUT I know I will look back on this year and tell the story of how I overcame really tough times. Faith is also everything...I truely believe things happen for a reason, even though we might not understand it at the time. I am SO glad that you have found your beautiful purpose for yourself for the world. God Bless you! BTW--sharing this video to my husband of 13 years....I am positive he is bi-polar....your story, mind and personality is so much like him it's insane. He is an open book with no filter, but has a heart of gold 💛. Loved Reacher 1 and had no clue of your life and story...can't wait to see Reacher 2 and all your other films. Your an inspiration, Alan. Keep being you ❤.
Come as a Jack Reacher fan; stay for the most articulated and relatable mental health discussion you'll ever hear. Thank you, Michael and Alan, for this. Inspired discussion.
Alan Ritchson is born to play Jack Reacher. He nailed it. Hope we going to see him at least more 6 - 7 season in Reacher. Amazing adaptation to Killing Floor
I totally agree. Why settle for 6-7 seasons if he can and will love to do 10 or more as long as the showrunners stay true to the source material and keep everyone happy in the Reacher production team? Alan is 37 compared to Tom Cruise when he did Mission: Impossible at 34 years old in 1996 and he's doing the seventh film at 59 years old, and Lee Child's first Jack Reacher novel came out in 1997. We all best buckle in for more of Alan's portrayal of Reacher for many years to come.
@@noeltobitdelafuente5743 i will be glad to see more 26 season dont get me wrong... but its gonna be difficult... so if they made at least 6 - 7 seasons...i can die happy :D

"My identity identity is no longer my career or work; my identity is something far more palatable, like serving others." Game-changing spiritual paradigm shift right there. Thank you Michael and Alan for this beautiful, powerful, entertaining, enlightening, and fun interview!
I wonder about the timing of the release of the interview in relation to the release date of Reacher. I am glad to hear some candid conversations. I hope Alan gets to find the work life balance.
I definitely like this interview. Also, they used to work together in Smallville. I remember Alan from there. Maybe because they have a history together, everything just flowed naturally.
@@matty4natty Thank you so much for this it is not often that you have such an intro perspective man reveal himself so humbly it brings light to us all
When Alan Ritchson spoke about his depression, suicide, and bipolar diagnosis…I wept. Many of these issues were things I had to learn about myself along the way, and it’s a hard thing to go through. I’m glad he found help, and it reminded me that I did the right thing ultimately by finding help. I was lucky to have my wife to help me understand what it was that I was feeling, and to help me find better ways to express myself & take care of my mental health. Thank you, Michael Rosenbaum, for having Alan Ritchson on the show, and for having this discussion. Thank you so much.
Alan well and truly deserves this success. Just binged all of 'Reacher' and loved it. All the best with future projects Alan. Thanks for another great episode Michael.
Interviews like this make the ones on talk shows seem so shallow in comparison. Of course we all know Alan Ritchson as an amazing actor, but that is only a small part of his identity. What makes this interview so special is that here is a guy who is on Cloud 9 reveal his inner struggles, his journey to get to where he is today. That is something almost everyone can relate to. So thank you Alan; you're a real one and you've inspired so many others to better versions of themselves.
When I read the reacher books my mind built up a character just like Alan. Not just the physical look, but the facial expressions, pauses in his speech, the million mile stare down… So amazing to watch a character come to life.
So much respect for Alan. He is the man that you never judge a book by his cover. Just a gentle giant with the same problems we all have. That's that cover that the celebrity status puts over our faces. We are all emotional people.
Yessss! Alan is not only a talented actor, but a phenomenal human being. I love how he uses his platform for positivity. Was lucky enough to work around him at Mountaineer Comicon and will forever be a fan of his. 💙 He is genuinely a good person. Happy Tuesday!!!
Seen some of his work before was able to binge watch the show and cant wait to see how things go for season 2 later. be cool to by chance meet him in person later if able to attend a con he at by chance in future.
He really asked a question there at the beginning and patiently listened, didn't he Michelle? And got a LOT of important information about someone else. That was really impressive. He does seem very cool.
This was an amazing discussion because my older brother is bipolar and tragically I just lost my cousin to suicide and forgive me if I sound insensitive but hearing Alan Ritchson description of his mind set when he was about to commit suicide, really helped me get an idea of probably how my cousin was feeling. Thank You, and so glad you were able to get help
sorry friend. :(. Rest In Peace. Don't be afraid to reach out to therapists, psychiatrists (only a little bit... for ADHD etc, maybe some other stuff, careful with meds). Love... and be loved.
Alan, I'm sure sorry to hear of the bipolar battle you've endured, but maybe it can help me better assist a bipolar friend who's also had suicidal thoughts. I was surprised Lamotrigine helps with bipolar; I take it for stress seizures. But I love that you know our Lord; your scripture based insights also encourage me! May He continue to bless you with Reacher; I'm looking forward to seeing more of it!
I rarely encounter such open, honest, dynamic, and destigmatizing dialogue around mental health crises. As a psychologist Im always hoping for more of this and I’m so grateful to and for Alan and Michael for creating the space for such meaningful connection. Thank you.
I think it’s important for people to know that a guy this beautiful and successful can have these sorts of problems. Life isn’t easy for anyone. It’s cool of him to share this.
As a bipolar dude who didn’t get diagnosed until my mid thirties, with many damage paths in the mirror, I can’t thank you and Mr Richson enough for such a deep discussion about the subject and some of the struggles it involves. I needed to hear this exactly at this time, thank goodness I listened through!
At 54:30 is he says one time he was coming off of a comedy and was expecting more roles and didn’t get them. He must be talking about Blue Mountain State. If so, I agree 100%! He was incredible. His character, Thad, was hilarious and amazing. I was so surprised he wasn’t just bombarded with offers for roles after that. I’ve watched Reacher on Prime Video and loved it. Very true to the books. So glad he got this chance. Great guy and great talent!
Chazz Reinhold "At 54:30 is he says one time he was coming off of a comedy..." Thank you for the insight👍🏻. I didn't remember him from Smallville or Titans(getting senile, lol) and had not been a viewer of BMS, but I will be checking BMS on Amazon Prime. Watching him in Reacher, I thought , at times, there was this sneaky😃, understated sense of humor, coming from such a big man playing such a bad assed character. Maybe producers were not smart enough to find and offer other roles to him after BMS. Maybe it all worked out. Reacher was waiting for him. That's my story and I'm sticking to it, lol.
I didn't know what to expect from Alan after only seeing him in the Reacher series. But I was pleasantly surprised he seems like a genuinely good guy that's smart on top of a mountain of muscle.
Big fan of Reacher and Ritchson but his candid story about mental health was inspirational! We need more people like him as role models to destigmatise human flaws and to acknowledge we are ok as we are and it's not a bad thing we aren't perfect.
The way he talks about his suicide attempt… my heart broke for him, because I was in that same state once. I’m glad he got himself out of the dark and drove forward.
Everyone in the world experiences depression and cynicism. But at the end of the day our narcissm and dominance takes over "Asim Ahmad". Do not be fooled.
I am so impressed and proud of Alan for sharing that with us, i think that the more people are honest about their own journey with mental health it will open up the door for more people to get help
This hits so close to home. I struggle still with anxiety and depression and some days I don't want to be here. The open conversation around this subject has helped me face this.
Love the discussion about depression starting at 21:00. Being this vulnerable while being authentic and genuine about something so private on a video podcast is absolutely INCREDIBLE. Thank you for sharing, Alan. I appreciate you.
Im just a random fella from Ireland and I've always been a big Smallville fan but I have suffered with very bad anxiety for at least 10 years of my life. Hearing Michael talk about so openly in his podcasts is is amazing. Its hard to describe properly but thanks for not making me feel as alone as I thought I did.
He was so good in Reacher, and smallville but this is so brave to say all this , just shows we all have problems no matter how good someones life looks from the outside, we just don't what they are dealing with and should be kind to everyone ❤️
This is one of the most powerful podcasts I’ve ever seen. Probably the most powerful. I teared up as Alan spoke about the mindset of someone ready to end their life with the belief that everyone will be better off without you around messing up their lives. I sat in awe as Alan describes diving into theology and successfully grasping the idea of “other-centeredness,” of the selflessness of love and eternal fulfillment of giving instead of gaining. His story gives me hope that I can get out of this dark place I’ve been trapped in. Thank you guys for putting this out. ❤
Lex and Aquaman!! This is going to be an amazing one!!! So excited to watch this!! Thank you for getting Alan Ritchson on the podcast. Can’t wait to hear what stories he will share. Hope you have an awesome week Michael ❤️ Happy Tuesday ^_^ 💙 Also happy one year anniversary of “Best Days” ☀️☀️☀️❤️🎵
So I was interested in the interview after watching Reacher and can't believe the conversation you both have. I have suffered from depression and anxiety for more than half my life and coming up to 43 and at times didn't think I would ever make it to this age. Thank you so much for letting me listen in to this when you see others going through something similar reminds us we are not alone and the only ones, there is hope and there will be better days.
Hey Phil. Just wanted to say I hope you’re having better days, and get through whatever comes your way. Do you know why you’re depressed? I was diagnosed with BP about 20 years ago. Once I found out why I was depressed, life got so much better. I’ve been depressed from 12 to my 40s,but I’m doing really well right now with the proper meds. I had to get sober first, but I remembered what “they” did to me. I was violated by multiple people at one time(Gg Roped),and one day it all came rushing back. I was 5, and my trust in a caretaker was broken. I think I shut it out my mind because it was too violent to handle, plus someone I trusted handed me over. I’m so glad everyone that I could remember was dead, but I told my mom and she believed me. That helped a lot,but maybe there’s something you can’t remember. I can’t see myself ever wanting to hurt myself again, but I had a forgiveness process to go through. I’ve been to the highest high, and then down to the lowest low. Over and over, and it wasn’t even my fault. I hope your doing ok,and get better. I’m glad you shared Phil. That helps as well. Good luck buddy. Many blessings and peace ✌️
Wow! Not what I expected at all. I've been a huge Reacher fan for decades. I'm an even bigger Alan fan. What a solid dude. Good for him to be so translucent and incredibly honest.
Alan was PHENOMENAL in BMS and I am so glad he got such a good role. I read the Lee Child book when I was around 13 on recommendation from my dad and I'm now 25 and I am so glad they did a series that actually does the book justice. Alan pulled it of great and the writing was also superb, I binged it in one sitting. Can't wait for a second season
REACHER Season 1 was some of the best television I have ever seen. It's perfect. Amazing actors, story & so much awesome! It's right there with TRUE DETECTIVE season 1 & FARGO season 2 for me. Perfect television.
1 of the 200 million right here. Literally read through the series like 3 times. Alan is great as Reacher. Truly great seeing him have this success. Much deserved.
Omg when he talks about hanging himself I literally burst into tears. God bless you Alan, I never knew this happened to you and I am so glad you’re still here. ❤️
At 28 minutes in, i just balled out crying because i have been in and out of depression and feel like i have all these things i want to achieve. Hearing his words relating to not wanting to get out of bed
Listened this morning and just want to say thanks to Alan for being so open and honest (and Michael for being a great host to facilitate the conversation). A close family member of mine has bipolar disorder so its interesting to hear how he's researched it and is finding positives in his condition. Reacher is so great - perfect imagining of the books- and I'm so pleased its been announced for a second series.
Really only know of Alan from BMS. This podcast was incredible. Absolutely incredible. Never thought the crazy jock frat dude was played by such a humble and open person.
The way I handle depression, anxiety, and midlife crisisis by being a really good uncle. Having kids makes you feel like you have a purpose in life and it makes dying less scary. Because in the back of your mind you know you’re leaving something behind and you will be missed by family makes it much more satisfying. So when your nephews and your nieces love you to bits and say that you are their hero you know you’re leaving something behind that’s something pure. It makes me feel like a super Saiyan.
While I remember depression since I was 5ish, it tumbled worse after having miscarriages (5+) I'm an only child so O have no biological nieces or nephews. I have cousins with children. One cousin I avoid because her two oldest are the same age my first two children would have been. I use writing to help because it's something I control
I was the fun uncle to my niece. We were like best friends and used to watch shows like Smallville, X-men and Xena together, play video games at home, go to the arcade and explore state parks. It was a great decade long experience, but now that she's in her 20s, she never talks to me. About five years ago, she moved away after finding a female partner online and never even told me. It's sad how people can shut you out. She doesn't talk to her mother either unless she needs a loan. It's super hurtful.
Thanks for this discussion with Alan on depression. It is humbling to know someone who is the picture of male ideal, has similar issues that I do. I subscribed because of this episode.
Alan Ritchson. My god, this was a groundbreaking conversation and dialogue on bipolar disorder and depression and an in-depth look on fame. This is up there with the Zachary Levi and Stephen Amell interviews for me. I can’t wait to see you back on the show and thank you Michael Rosenbaum for continuing to have interesting conversations with interesting human beings! PS: Reacher was an absolute thrill and I’m so happy that Alan and Co. received a season 2 renewal already! Could not have happened for a better person. ❤️
Wow, just wow. THIS is the MOST honest conversation and spiritual awakening that I’ve witnessed and I’m soooo thankful for coming across this. Thank Alan, thank you.
That part about Having children now & better know who you are, because you can't afford to find out anymore...That hit me hard. That just broke my mind. I'm going through the same thing but I didn't know it until now.
Same man. I was never huge about having kids but its not something you can really compromise in a relationship. So a few years into our marriage, we had our first son. I love my son and adore him and I don't think I could ever live without him. But there are moments where I day dream and wonder living an alternate reality where I stayed single. Hang in there man. It's perfectly okay to doubt yourself, or think "this isn't where I thought I'd be today". Just remember being a parent doesn't define who you are. It's only a = part of yourself. You don't have to become a perfect person all of a sudden. You're still you. Best of luck!
When he said that piece about the kids. That hit me. I never felt pressure in life like i did when my kids came. He describes it perfectly, took the words straight from my heart.
Amazing conversation. As someone who suffers from depression and suicidal thoughts this interview really hit home. I came because I love Alan Ritchson but found a truly enlightening interview. Thank you!
11:28 I kind of came to this realization myself lately. I finally took a week off and spent quality time with my family, and I found my creative side easier to access. It’s been something I have been struggling with for years. Now, something that I once had no problem accessing, is now like trying to dig through concrete with a garden shovel, but when I took time off to breathe, I found my creative ideas flowed so much better.
Good grief, the strength of that man. To be so soul searingly honest about something so raw and dark...it genuinely floored me. Bless you, Alan for having the courage to share your heart with us all. I hope that your strength inspires others to face their darkness and see that it is possible to live with it and maybe eventually overcome it.
I've loved him since Smallville. I just finished Reacher the other day and I want more please! Soooooooooo freaking good! I hope the people who didn't like the TC movies give this a shot. It's funny, scary, and Alan hit it out of the park. The supporting cast are really good too.
thank you to both Alan and Michael for this one. Like 99 percent of others, i only know you both from your roles, but you're actually amazing human beings. This was very cool and interesting to watch.
I want to thank Alan and Mike for this episode. I was/am going through things very similar to Alan but never knew what to call it or how to describe but after watching this I decided to get tested and found out I am Bipolar as well. Its been a huge step forward for me so thank you both.

Thanks for being successful and not trying to hide anxiety/depression. People trying to just cope, esp in today's sh*tshow environment, need to see it happens. Depression happens to everyone. Good job guys.
I'm really impressed with how open Alan is. I was hoping to hear some insight on his role in the Titans but was impressed with his conversation on depression and anxiety. I can see him as a public speaker on the topic later in his life.

Alan is so brave to speak about his struggles with mental health and how his faith impacts his life. I loved hearing his story and what he is doing to keep his life in a semblance of order. Also, I'm not too familiar with his filmography but I loved his portrayal of Raphael in the often maligned 2010s Ninja Turtles films. Those movies are far from perfect, but Alan brought such a brilliant take on a classic character.

Alan Ritchson is literally the ubermensch, handsome, fit, talented, intelligent, empathetic, and sense of humor. WOW!
So stupid. He was BORN to play Thad Kastle. No one could ever play Thad like him.
@@dr.wolfstar1765 stupid for you... I never watched blue mountain state because for me the show was really stupid but that is my opinion.... and his character Thad...is stupid and memorable from dumb college bums
@@noeltobitdelafuente5743 Alan might be up for it but his body might not be. He got injured a couple of times and this is just the first season, and he's about the same age Chris Evan's was when he retired from Captain America, as it's an enormous amount of work to look that enormous for the camera.
"My identity identity is no longer my career or work; my identity is something far more palatable, like serving others." Game-changing spiritual paradigm shift right there. Thank you Michael and Alan for this beautiful, powerful, entertaining, enlightening, and fun interview!
Michael, out of all the promo Alan Richardson has done for this series, yours was by far the best interview. Congratulations!
Totally agree 👍 outstanding discussion
I wonder about the timing of the release of the interview in relation to the release date of Reacher. I am glad to hear some candid conversations. I hope Alan gets to find the work life balance.
I definitely like this interview. Also, they used to work together in Smallville. I remember Alan from there. Maybe because they have a history together, everything just flowed naturally.
@@matty4natty Thank you so much for this it is not often that you have such an intro perspective man reveal himself so humbly it brings light to us all
@@bolindesigns2032 you are so welcome 🙏
When Alan Ritchson spoke about his depression, suicide, and bipolar diagnosis…I wept. Many of these issues were things I had to learn about myself along the way, and it’s a hard thing to go through. I’m glad he found help, and it reminded me that I did the right thing ultimately by finding help. I was lucky to have my wife to help me understand what it was that I was feeling, and to help me find better ways to express myself & take care of my mental health. Thank you, Michael Rosenbaum, for having Alan Ritchson on the show, and for having this discussion. Thank you so much.
Im really happy Alan is getting the recognition he deserves. I haven’t seen it all yet but everyone I know is saying it’s fantastic.
It's amazing 👍🏼
I binge watched it all in one day, it feels more like a movie than a TV show

Oh ya, it's a great show!
Just finished watching this episode. What a lovely guy and so brave to be so open on the show.
Alan well and truly deserves this success.
Just binged all of 'Reacher' and loved it.
All the best with future projects Alan.
Thanks for another great episode Michael.

@@RkoStunna hahaha man I just woke up for work after only a couple of hours sleep myself staying up till 5:30am watching it.
Alan is an incredible man, full of values, he deserves all the success in the world
Interviews like this make the ones on talk shows seem so shallow in comparison.
@ OCN YOURA6 - 👏❤️💐
Dude has the looks, the smarts, and can sing too. Dang. Awesome personality too.
When I read the reacher books my mind built up a character just like Alan. Not just the physical look, but the facial expressions, pauses in his speech, the million mile stare down… So amazing to watch a character come to life.
That’s really cool! I kinda wanna read the books now!
Yep, he nailed it. It was like they reached into my brain and pulled out my image of Reacher.
Me too. Such a kind and talented man ❤️
❤️❤️❤️

Jake, you're a narcissist.
sorry friend.
Alan Ritchson is a stellar actor. I always give whatever he is in a shot bc he does such a great job with characters
The authenticity of Alan ritchson is such a relief.
Extraordinary courage to speak so openly about such a difficult subject.
I love interviews that are more than "I'm just here to promote my new show." Keep it up guys.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it, lol.
mojitos!
I didn't know what to expect from Alan after only seeing him in the Reacher series. But I was pleasantly surprised he seems like a genuinely good guy that's smart on top of a mountain of muscle.
He's hilarious and the complete opposite in blue mountain state
Big fan of Reacher and Ritchson but his candid story about mental health was inspirational!
Hope you find a bit of happiness for yourself mate love from England 🇬🇧 ❤🇮🇪
What a real talk! Hearing him vocalize the idea of the pressure as a father i've been feeling. wow
Lex and Aquaman!! This is going to be an amazing one!!! So excited to watch this!! Thank you for getting Alan Ritchson on the podcast. Can’t wait to hear what stories he will share. Hope you have an awesome week Michael ❤️
Happy Tuesday ^_^ 💙
Also happy one year anniversary of “Best Days” ☀️☀️☀️❤️🎵
Alan, renegotiate those Reacher shoots down to a reasonable pace, we don’t want to lose you.
Thanks for being insightful AND funny!
The man is beautiful inside and out. Loved everything you did in "Reacher", Alan. Thanks for the hard work.
I just finished Reacher and loved it. Alan did a great job. I’m happy the show got renewed.
He is absolutely amazing, thank you Alan for opening up so much and being so honest.
Bro, had to check who made this comment. Genuinely thought it is was me. I feel you.
This is much more like how life, people, celebrities used to be instead of so much fixed, political, regurgitated narratives
Alan blew me away you guys really did have a deep conversation.
Started Reacher on Friday and ended on Sunday. Great show and Alan was terrific!
When he said that piece about the kids. That hit me. I never felt pressure in life like i did when my kids came. He describes it perfectly, took the words straight from my heart.
Yes, when he said you “better know who you are” by then…it’s a lot of pressure.
Incredible interview. Alan is a great role model. He has flaws, he owns them and is not afraid to ask for help. He is a great father and husband too.
Jack reacher was such a good show, and this was a great podcast! Can't wait to see him in the next season
These first 45 minutes is like "listening in a mirror", can relate to all of it. It's healthy to get this conversation out there. Thank you.
"I no longer have the luxury of discovering who i am, i am a father." .....This hits home. 35 about to be 36, dad of 2 boys. Did not expect that but really feel it.

Perfect casting, writing, filming and editing. The show is the best thing on TV
Alan's and the Erica Durance's podcast interviews were phenomenal because they were so open. Thanks!
Was excited that Alan was playing Reacher but after watching this...Amazing actor and human being... God bless him and u for presenting this to us... 🙏🏼💯
Such a gem of an Interview! The conversation flows with such natural elan.
I got injured and have had multiple surgeries and I haven't been the same since. I had to give you my job, home, and move in with my folks and literally start over. The depression can be crippling just like Allen said. Thankyou for being so open.
Alan did a GREAT job as Jack Reacher! I was definitely hooked after the 1st episode and I'm on episode 4 now. I'm purposefully NOT bingeing or rushing through this series -- just enjoying everything about this show. 😁👍👍
I can relate to Alan, when you're a parent you have this feeling that you can't fail
So happy for his success! Reacher is a must watch!!!
I truly appreciate Alan Ritchson and Michael Rosenbaum for the deep conversation and their authenticity.
This was such a great episode, so glad Alan can talk about all of this so openly, he helps so many others by doing it ^^

Wow! What a thoughtful, sensitive, brave, and articulate human being. Love the show even more now
What an absolutely amazing interview of a totally amazing dude. This was so genuine... I don't even know. Thank you to you all and, yes, I 1000% hope Alan's new show is THE biggest show ever. Nothing but love. Wow.
Thank you for this interview.
As a JR fan I was interested to hear it, but as a 57 year old, I was and am grateful for sharing your situation. It has helped me in a way I cannot express.
Veronica here. Absolutely loved Reacher. This interview was fabulous. Thank Alan for being so open. My family has had bipolar and this was a great discussion. God Bless you and your family
I wasn't really interested in Reacher, but now feel like I want to watch it in hour of the hard work Alan and other's put into the show.
It’s worth it.

Also, he was full of very insightful information that I had never heard of before.
Rosey, I've been asking forever for him, thank you for getting Alan. I just knew you two will hit it off becuse of how open he is. I'm so proud of Reacher, he knocked it out of the park!

I really enjoyed this conversation. I had no idea what he went through and I'm proud of him that he's overcoming his issues.
Came here because I love Reacher but left with an extremely important message. I’ve been struggling with drug addiction and to hear that even a guy who appears so well put together also has personal demons makes me realize that we all have our personal struggles. This gave me hope. And hope doesn’t matter to a guy like me until I become hopeless so thank you for this. I’ll be back
I Watched this one in hope to know more about Alan, and my lord what an amazing man and amazing story I literally broke down crying at all the shit I held in when he said "They think they were giving the world a gift" that hit me so hard, and I felt so welcomed for the longest time I felt that and it's good to know I'm not the only one.
Im not lying when I say "something" told me to click in this episode. And I have taken so much out of it. Thank you Alan and Michael.
