Being a Reacher fan that has read all the books i have to say that the choice to pick Alan as Reacher was the best thing they ever did. It's not that Tom didn't play Reacher well it's just that anyone that has read Reacher automatically has an idea of how he looks and Alan fits that description perfectly.
This is how I always felt too. Cruise did an amazing job capturing Reacher's tone and demeanor, 10/10, but he was never going to match Reacher's anthropometric characteristics. He did, however, do such a great job with the movies that we got to have individual Reacher novels as whole well thought out seasons. I'm so glad they cast Alan Ritchson as Reacher. I was skeptical at first, having been a fan of Blue Mountain State. I didn't think he would be able to match Tone and Demeanor, but he grows into it throughout season 1, and fully embodies Reacher in Season 2. I love the books and I love the series on Prime.
Loved him in the reacher series. Can’t wait to see him in more movies. I have also seen him interviewed. He seems like a really nice humble guy. I hope it continues.
I'm 60 and just started TRT, and am glad I did. I feel a lot better and don't have the aches and pains. Great to see men talk about it, more men need to investigate this option.
Well, he had a legitimate reason to be on TRT, he's 40 and trying to be Reacher. TRT in it's recommended dose is completely fine and might give you a *bit* of and edge, but more or less just does what it says, replaces your testosterone. TRT gets abused A LOT by people who don't need it, which is why it gets a bad rap. TRT isn't banned in a lot of martial arts sports if you stay within the recommended dose and you prove you actually need it.
I am SO looking forward to the second series of Reacher. He has absolutely nailed the role, and congratulations to the writer/director for keeping series 1 so faithful to the book. I really hope that continues in the second series.
Season 2 was complete rubbish compared to 1, real shame as I like most people thought it would be amazing. Poor story , writing basically everything that made season 1 so good was dreadful in 2 . Hilarious to think anybody with a basic understanding of diet would believe such lies.
Mike Mentzer talked a lot about this but his point was that you only need to work out enough to break down muscle so it may rebuild. You don’t have to go crazy for 8hrs in the gym. And for Alan he works out every day so it probably is mostly just calories for him. He doesn’t eat trash food all the time but a couple times a week probably isn’t bad.
im 32 and I work out regularly, people that have fitness experience know that its impossible to stack 40 pounds of muscle in 9 months regardless on how Godly your genetics may be... However, (and I know friends this happened to) there is a slight risk of strokes, blood clots, and heart attacks... especially the older you get. I did dianabol, anavar, and test cypionate during the 80's, I'm currently 65, still hit the gym, for me, the risk is akin to the 💉 😷, like Clint asked the armed robber, "do you feel lucky?"
Well I did blood work first. Gotta get prostate blood work done and might as well get the rest check. Blood sugar, cholesterol and prostate. If all is good then it will be fine to take the TRT. I had to jump through hoops to get the prescription. I’m sure in America it’s much easier to get your hands on that.
Awesome show!
