I am Moroccan who lived in Belgium 20 years where I started playing with colors on my house walls
When I moved to Canada, bought a house, I felt restricted because of the mindset there...everything tended to be the same and because I wasn’t going to stay forever there and thinking about futur buyers and what suits them.....
I changed my eggshel wall color in Gray...darker in dining and living room...but in in the bedrooms I just did what I wanted to do black and blue green..from FB

This brought tears to my eyes! I lived in Morocco for three years and even had my youngest while we lived there. We had fog trees and a lemon tree and lived so spectacularly while we were there. Tea with the ladies in their salon was always my favorite. The Moroccan people took us in like family and it was truly amongst the most incredible times of our lives! Thank you so much for sharing this!

Sounds like memories for the treasure box, I have some too, but from my time in Los Angeles, the most spectacular time of my life, and whenever I am reminded I get a lump in my throat and a tear or too. Morocco always seemed like the country of colour from people to architecture and interiors.

I am a Moroccan who lived 20 years in belgium and 7 years in Toronto area...now I am in south of France, to be near my home country and my parents so I can see them more...except that our first trip to Morocco since in France was compromised by covid...
Anyway, we Moroccan love people and knowing what they are, love...share with them our culture...

Tangier looks like such an amazing place to live and visit; exotic, a little mysterious and old world-middle east, yet very international and sophisticated. I've always been drawn to Moroccan design and interiors. I do like his laid back bohemian style, pieces, and embrace of vibrant colour! The love birds are a nice touch too☺💞

Dear girls just spent the day in the two Paris Flea markets buying an antique chinese cage stand to put magasines in, a large carved antique chinese chest, a large white plaster statue and a gorgeous African mask then I come home to this wonderful video !! that red room gorgeous, a man after my own heart !! will of course buy the book at once !! I am usually not a big fan of colorful interior but this house is beautiful. I love the different colored walls with the blue one my favourite. The tiles in this house are also gorgeous. Susanna, you wore the perfect dress for the occasion.

I love when the use of red is accents not the color of the room/ This mans sense of color comes from extensive knowledge of education and being born into his family's & their combined experiences he saw all of his life/ Being free to live in London at the age of 18, that alone is reason to celebrate a free spirit using color.

This house is what dreams are made of when I think of a second home in a far away country like Morocco. I have been drooling over his book and loving the diversity and use of color in the houses Nicolo featured. Veere Grenney created my idea of paradise and the garden is just sheer perfection. Another two Favorites are Dar Zero and Gordon Watsons house. Wished I could visit all these homes in person but I enjoy viewing glimpses of them through you lovely ladies. Bravo Nicolo!

I'm so excited because a month ago I painted my bedroom that peacock color!!! I liked it but feared I'd gone too far but then seeing he had same color I felt better!! I put pale yellow with it but may go mustard too instead. So happy I saw this channel
I think I have seen this video amost ten times and each time I look at it, I find new decoration ideas. As I must have said before I normally like sober interiors with white, black and wood elements but every time I watch it I have a different new inspiring opinion on using colors. And as the designer I am in love with the peacock blue paint on the walls in the bedroom. This time I looked at all the rugs and I will plan a special trip to Morocco to buy some rugs.

I am a Moroccan who lived in Europe and Canada...and a fact is that in North America, from my 7 years experience there, people don’t dare go out of rhe boxe regarding colors, furnitures...
I moved there with my european furniture got here and there...and succeeded to get it work beautifully...I even painted bedrooms in dramatic colors as black and dark blue green fro Farrow and Ball
Mr.Nicolo' is a warm and genuine person and I felt that immediately when he hugged you hello. The way he looked at you was pure happiness to have you there and that is not something you can fake for the camera. His home suddenly impacts you with the color when you enter each of the rooms, the balance and symmetry brings you back to your senses . Those gorgeous old gold frames and pictures are things I covet and he has a good eye for collecting them. The mixture of different types of wood in the furniture and the patterns in the fabrics and curtains is amazing! The textures in the obvious cane of the furniture and the not so obvious textures in the details are not something easy to pull off but Mr. Nicolo' has managed to do it. You almost have to look for it to see it, but when you do you are in awe. What a magician! I love his style! It would be a dream to follow someone like him around inside his mind. The kaleidoscope of colors that must swirl throughout his head to have created this home the way he has. Truly an artist and a designer. Gosh! Thanks again Susanna for taking us all on a cyber vacation to visit this wonderful home and it's views!

you can see by the way he decorates that he embraces life to the fullest and is not pretentious in design, some of the modern so called designers are so pretentious and you can see they have no soul in their design, i also love the outfit the spokesperson is wearing, fabulous print.
