The strange thing is Valve or Steam are still developing games and they hesitate with delivering Half Life 3, the fact that in 2024 fans are still posting RUclips videos about a 20 year old game says a lot. The gravity gun is a monumentally original weapon, it's baffling that no effort has been made to push the gravity gun further.
with every main half life game, valve HAS to innovate with something, but at this point, tech in games have evolved so fast and well that there is little to nothing anymore new that can be made

No. It has unskippable cutscenes. Anything with unskippable cutscenes is inherently bad. & said cutscenes are not good or enjoyable, & muddle the hard edge of half life. HL1 is good
They aren’t cutscenes, they don’t take your control away from the game. Also unskippable cutscenes aren’t inherently bad, you just don’t have any patience.
