My mama always made gravy with canned milk/water....pet milk to be exact....when I got older I decided I wanted to try water gravy....it was good but missing something so then I decided to add diced onion....perfection. That all looks sooooo good. Makes me want to take a bite...lol.

I cannot believe Karen, how are you make the most perfect mashed potatoes. I have never put sour cream in my mashed potatoes. Can you explain to me what that does to them? They absolutely were perfect and I love mashed potatoes and I make them for my grandkids and my daughters all the time. I especially made a big bowl of mashed potatoes every Thanksgiving for my kids and grandkids. However I’m not very well now but I still cook for myself and my kids when they stop over. I cannot believe those potatoes they were perfect X
Praying you get well soon. Thank you for your sweet compliments. The sour cream whites the potatoes and gives it just a slight tang that is oh so delicious. Try buttermilk in place of regular milk sometimes, not with the sour cream though. It does the same. Delicious 😋

I have a set of salad master, it's great if you are in a hurry coz the food cooks fast and you can cook in a lesser amount of water than regular pots and the food tastes good
