Chicken Marsala, Green Beans, Mashed Potatoes, and Brett singing

- This dish is absolutely amazing. Quick, easy, delicious. You can have it on the table in no time at all. Check it out.
Mashed Potatoes
Wash and look over red potatoes. Small ones, cook whole, larger ones, cut in half. Boil in salted water until tender. Add butter, heavy cream, salt and pepper to taste. Mash until desired consistency.
Chicken Marsala
1/2 cup AP flour
1/2 tsp onion powder,
1/2 tsp garlic powder
salt & pepper to taste
2 Tbsp olive oil
1 Tbsp butter
1 cup sliced button mushrooms
1/2 - 1 cup heavy cream
Add oil and butter to pan. Get it hot. Add seasonings to flour, stir well. Dredge chicken lightly in flour. Set on plate. Add to fry pan. Cook 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove to plate. Add more oil to pan if needed. Add mushrooms. Sautee 3-4 minutes. Add 1/4 to 1/2 cup wine. White or Marsala, your choice. Simmer until reduced by half. Add 1/2 - 1 cup heavy cream, let simmer a couple of minutes. Remove chicken to platter. Pour sauce over chicken.
Green Beans
Prepare whole green beans by snapping off ends.
Parboil 2-3 minutes. Remove to ice water bath to stop cooking. Dry to clean towel. Add to fry pan with a little bit of olive oil. Sautee until just getting a little bit of color. Add 1 tsp minced garlic. Continue to sautee for a couple of minutes. Put on a platter and finish with kosher or sea salt.

I'm so happy to see, when someone is cooking they are responsible for keeping children, pets and yourself SAFE! Notice how She and Brett moves the handle towards the sides of the counter tops and not exposed in body reach. Any child can grab it, pet could swat it or your shirt can snag it. Yes!!! Please move those handles away. Their could be a hot pot of chicken frying and it can easily damage your life!
Absolutely! My garage door, which we come in and out of all the time, is close to my stove. It can easily be bumped when passing through. Thank you Charli for your comment and helping point out the safety of handles on hot pots.❤️

Snapping beans is a childhood memory for me. We lived on a farm when I was growing up and we had a huge garden. I'd sit on the side porch and would snap hundreds of beans at a time. Oh, that Chicken Marsala looks Heavenly. Maybe, throw a few capers in the sauce. Have A Blessed Day! 🥰

Brett did a fine job preparing the chicken marsala, green beans, and mashed potatoes. I liked the additions of garlic, butter, wine, and salt and pepper. I think Brett could probably make this meal in 30 minutes if he wasn't showing us the details. Yes I think leaving the skin on the potatoes is best. Also, I like how the chicken breasts are not thick, and cook evenly. All of it makes me hungry, and I do think Brett could be a Chef, seriously. Thank you both for this delightful video! Simple is the key I love simple no reason for all that xtra stuff
Hi Karen, that looks so good lol. I'm going to try to make this one day. But I wanted to tell you about you're green beans. I've got a couple of different recipes for you if you'd like to try them. Okay,# 1, fix you're beans like you're nephew did, add 1 t. garlic minced, and slice 1onion med or larger if you like. Then saute them for a couple of minutes, don't let them get to brown k. So then add 1 TBL. of lemon juice. Then cook them on low for a couple of mins, turn off heat and put a lid on them and put them aside. Now, if you're using lemon out of a bottle you don't have to do this last step, you're beans are done but salt and pepper them before you serve them. Now, if you used a fresh lemon, take and seed your lemon and slice it in thin slices. Next add the slices to the beans and just warm them up a little. Salt and pepper to taste. Pour them in a serving dish and add some chopped parsley on top and what ever herb you like. # 2 beans. You're gonna fix your beans like you you did with the lemon juice. You're adding sliced onions and the minced garlic. So after you sauted them for a couple of minutes, then add 1 can of stewed tomatoes. Now, I put a little sugar in the can and mix it up a bit. That gets rid of some of the acid that's in the tomatoes. Next, put the tomatoes on a chopping board and chop them up a little. You don't have to do this step, that's the way I fix them. Up to you, whatever you like. Next , add the stewed tomatoes to your beans and saute on low. Watch them so that all the juice doesn't cook out. You want the juice. Cook down to about half of the juice is cooked out. Then add your spices and herbs. That's it. I hope you like both of these recipes. Enjoy. Thanks for sharing Karen. Love ya girl.
