Ceramic and wrapping is the best way to go. I fully recommend it especially how tight this car is with the hot pipe fit.

Rev9 has a kit with a real Turbonetics turbo included at $3700 now. Not sure if just doing the 'real' turbonetics kit at $4400-5000 is a better deal since it includes the BOV/Wastegate/Intercooler. Trying to research for my son's 2005 350Z Touring 6MT.

To think that I wanted a 500 horse g35, I think with the rev9 kit and turbonetics turbo u have to make slot of adjustments huh? Do mind me asking u, how much u paid for the adjustments? Aside from the kit I'm sure it was 2400, I want the kit but I keep hearing bad and good reviews 😔, so I'm like yes and no to buy it, I see u made a few mods to make it to 500 and it seems u spent more then the 2400?, How much in total did u pay? And aside from the adjustments? How.much was that? Hope u can help me out

what bumper and side skirts?
I’m doing the same build/kit on my 350z but using a Percision 6266 instead of the rev9 turbo and z1 Level 3 DE Rebuild kit with that turbo and motor I’m expecting at the least 550-600 whp and tips on the piping fitment and intercooler
There is a major restriction on the y shaped pipe
Watch the video before this one we explain it in the video also don’t forget to wrap ur piping
no disrespect but if u have the money for rods, pistons, head studs then u may as well buy a used Greddy twin turbo kit or aps single, etc. cause me and my friend used this kit and it was great for stock block least so far but the piping is rather small and fitment was meh. just my .2 cents

Damn since you did custom downpipe you coulda done aftermarket headers so the car keeps a better exhaust note. The downpipe is basically the only reason why the kit dont fit with aftermarket headers. I still respect the build tho bruh thats fasho fasho.

There wouldn’t be a way to do a turbo for under 4k you need fuel injectors fuel pump(at minimum 500$) the turbo kit ~2700 will need a tune when your done ~1000 for boost tune(with uprev and arc features) need oil pan spacer for feed lines ~200 should add a oil cooler ~500

I’m looking into this turbo kit but I’m already running some ISR longtube headers. I’ve read in multiple websites that the kit can only run with stock headers. Do you think this kit it worth going back to stock headers?

Well, the stock headers have not been a issue on mine or others I’ve tuned so far up to about 500hp, but I’ll be pushing mine on stock motor a bit past that and I plan to log exhaust manifold back pressure to see if it’s a problem…..

Are you running a dump tube on the kit? I’m running the kit and it sounds like I have an exhaust leak when coming off of a rev. Figured that might be because I’m not running a dump tube? any tips?
Yea mine is open downpipe
Make sure u get the z1 metal header gaskets to you don’t get and leaks by the headers and also rtv everything and get good vbands and you should be good
@@str86ix26 yeah I got some v clamps, but I sprayed the exhaust with soap and water and couldn’t see any bubbles...it sounds like it’s coming from the drivers side near the fender but I can’t pin point it
Yea ur on the right track just keep using the soap and water also try using permatex rtv red
Yea most of the time it’s usually coming from the driver side header or the end of the U pipe that connector to it
Ppl talk about the boost creep . What are you gonna do with that part ? And are you leaving the hot side piping the way it is. Ppl say that’s also is a restriction

Yea it is but it’ll get expensive if you want to modify the piping

the Rods are a weak point for the VQ DE and they tend to bend at 400, im not sure 500 is possible and if so maybe for a couple of dyno pulls but thats it. I wanna see you hit 500 though
