I've got a pretty big arcade stick collection. Alot of rare and expensive sticks, im looking to downsize (get rid of most of them).
This stick has been my favorite and the one I would keep and that says alot.
I love the cover for the options button and the Noir layout.
I have little arcade stick experience, but I got to agree, it's feels really awesome to use.

6:30 It's really not a mid tier fight stick. Like 80% of Japanese pro Tekken 7 players use it and it's the best choise for them because it has the same exact layout as on the Tekken 7 arcade cabinet and it's just the right size for tournaments. Of course it's not a Tekken only layout so it's just as good for any game. The layout comes from a Namco Noir cabinet and that's why this is called the Rap N. (N for Noir).
So it's mid tier priced but it was specifically designed for pro player tournament use.
And if you fit it with a Sanwa JLF and OBSF-30 buttons it will have the same exact parts as the real cabinet.
My personal recommendation for joystick and buttons for your fighting game use would be a:
- Seimitsu LSX-NOBI-STD (buy a ball top to go with it, don't use the 'bullet top' that comes with it)
- 8x Seimitsu PS-14-GN buttons.
- 1x PS-14-DN (start button)
If you prefer a lighter spring on the stick and the light feel of the current Hori buttons and sticks there might not be a big reason to switch because the Sanwa parts are 75% similar but if you feel like you could use a stiffer spring on the stick and a shorter distance to the microswitches and that the stick would return to center much faster then the Seimitsu LSX-Nobi-STD is the perfect joystick and the Seimitsu PS-14-GN buttons have more resistance (not too much) and have a really nice positive feel and they return to neutral quickly.

The parts it came with are fine, there are no objectively better parts, everyone in the scene has their own preferences.

does this work on PS5 games because I want an arcade stick for tekken 8 but that will only have a PS5 version
I played the PS5 version of Guilty Gear Strive using this stick and had no problems, I really hopes it supports all the other games too.
Six buttons are better than eight.

Little over a month now. How's the arcade stick been holding on so far?
It is super solid, been jamming Guilty Gear Strive on it, it's very responsive, looking forward to keep using this for future NetherRealm games too.
I have mine since April and i mainly use it for PC, it doesn't show correctly the buttons like with the DS4. The ball top i would like that it won't rotate that much but i got used to it.
Ah fair call, haven't used it on PC yet, might have to give it a go and crank up that Injustice 2.

Does it have to stay connected or can it go wireless for ps5?
It has to stay connected I haven't seen a way to enable a wireless feature.
@@gamewithcasper2216 hori RAP N can connect the coov N100plus and plug the coov N100plus into the power bank, which enables wireless connection
